Charlie does have Big Bad Brunhilde and the MTL rta. It was the MTL one that he was having issues with which were resolved:thumb: he never used the dual coil Brunhilde, I think he was too scared:w00t:(don't tell him I said thato_O)

I only ever vape on dual coil Brunhilde with the airflow right down and a nice rdl vape at 27W so I could vape until my heart was content and she always stayed cool:cool:
@hittman Big Bad Brunhilde definitely shouldn't be getting hot at around these wattages. If you have your watts up higher then unfortunately I cannot help.

I’m running two .4 ohm ni80 Clapton coils at currently 49 watts. I get about half a dozen puffs before it gets hot and I have to put it down.

I see Freedom of Speech diminishing everywhere, even on this forum.

The First Amendment applies to government restrictions on speech. It does not apply to any private entity. Our house, our rules.

    Definitely over 27w.
    Yup.

One time I vaped at 35 watts, just for the heck of it. Normally I vape anywhere from 10w - 25w.

49 watts and up would probably fog up the place. Thinking that would be a reduced visibility situation. I would need a better mod with fog lights and a fan. :D

    I’m normally 10w - 15w but occasionally a bit higher.

Even 49 watts isn't much for the dual coil Brunhilde, she is vaped on by most users at closer to 100 watts without a problem. That's rather strange:confused:
The best place for coil position on the dual coil is to have the coils parallel with the deck, so you get all of the airflow onto the coil. chrome_screenshot_1654131055846.png
No doubt you have plenty of cotton in there to wick nice because not enough wick could most definitely be an issue.
Otherwise all I can think of is the airflow, make sure that you have quite a bit of that opened up!
I'm a bit stumped apart from that Mate, I'll put my Brunhilde thinking cap on though and hopefully we can sort this burnin' Brunhilde right out:thumb:

Hey all, just got up from a nap and made a double juice so I'd have one for later. 2 green apples, 2 beets, 2 carrots and 1 lime is the recipe and I doubled it. Good tasting drink! I'm finding when I get up in the morning or from a nap the first thing I want is not coffee but juice. I may wean myself off of coffee. May.

I have the big hole open and three of the smaller ones. I think this is where my problem lies. I like a slightly restrictive DL and probably don’t have enough air for the coils I’m using. I’ll check coil position also.

She may just need some more air, can you handle it:w00t:
You'd like the top of the coil flush with the top of deck!
Good Luck Mate, I'm hope you're Brunhilde chills out:thumb:

The reason I switched to smoothies a couple of years ago was that I had to give up coffee. They worked well (I put matcha into them for some caffeine).

That said, my stomach generously allowed me to resume drinking coffee some months ago, but I kept the smoothies in the rotation because they're so darn healthy and they mean I only have to figure out what to eat once a day.

I pulled the top cap and my coils were a little low and my wicks needed changing so raised them and put fresh wicks in. I’ll open the air a little and see how that does.
