Morning, mixers, and another sun day here.Claim is it will stay below 90. Barely.

Yard work, tis the season. A bit of debris and fresh cuttings to gather, maybe mow. (The way things have been going, it might be the last one of the season!)
all this 80/90 degree heat has all but browned my lawn. Trying to not spend a fortune in water the lawn twice a day but I really hate brown grass. On the plus side, you dont have to mow brown grass.;)

I'm hoping for a mild wet washington winter.

I had been running the sprinklers at least once a day and still got some brown spots. I’m not going to stress over it though. I’ll verticut and overseed in a few weeks.

We’re in the 80’s but it’s still hot in the sun. I’ve been out working on the deck and started staining it. Our handrail is a real pain to stain. One of these I’ll replace it with metal spindles.

I mixed up four more testers yesterday and another seven today. The FDA might have created a monster.
    A mixing monster.
A mixed up mixing monster. (Well, a more mixed up mixing monster)

I also started putting some of them in at ATF and ELR, but only private for now.
Haha, ATF will give you a randomly generated name for your recipe! That fits right in with my randomly generated flavor combos.

Used the first couple of suggestions but have now moved on to a "vague" naming style for some of them. You know, the kind where the name gives you no clue as to what the recipe is about. Still some normalish ones and I can always fix 'em up if any ever go public.

Since you're just dying to know, the ones from this weekend are:
    Sunspots • Barney's Fife • A Guilty Night • New Strange World • Blueberry Malted • Honey, It's Just Peachy Apples • Cin-d's Car App • A Waful Dream • Burnt Offerings • Wanderer • Streaming.

Yeah, I know, they're all just waful.
(really only the one is waffle!)

I never water my lawn or worry about how it looks except to keep it mowed, and that's just to keep the neighbors and the city happy. I only had to mow once this summer, because we weren't getting any rain. It's raining now, though and is expected to rain all week. I'm sure I'll have to mow once it stops, but I'm not gonna complain. The rain is definitely welcome.

There's an outfit advertising on TV these days called Christian Faith Publishing. They help people who write books based on Christian beliefs. For some reason every time it comes on I hear it as Christian vape Publishing. Maybe it's just my old ears not working as well as they used to.

I worked with a guy back in the 90's who wrote a Christian book. He was Pentacostal. He reckoned he had spotted a gap in the Christian book market, Christian literature was getting big but nobody had written a humorous Christian book. He picked my brain for info because his book was set in England after the Antichrist showed up there. He needed to know what names were given to Church Of England churches, also pubs and other stuff. The main joke in the book was that the Antichrist 6was terrified of Pentacostal churches because the spirit of Jesus was so strong there, but he often attended Church Of England services and enjoyed the music and the sermons. He liked English pubs too. I heard years later that he actually got his book published. Glad it worked out for him, he was one of the nicest guys I ever met.

I get to see how much I vape per day from a list I keep of whenever I mix base. I used to mix a batch of base every couple of months but this year it went down to every 4 months. Right now I'm at 4 months and still have one of the 4 bottles unopened. That means over the last year I've gone from 8mls a day to 4mls a day or less. I also had 10 or 12 setups going with different flavors, now it's only 6. Even dropped some of my old favorite flavors. I never thought I would quit but now it seems possible.

I really can't say why that popped into my head, haven't seen that movie recently or anything.
It has Butterscotch Ripple in it so maybe the "Bu" part made a connection.
It's kind of a coffee-ish mix so... I really don't know what prompted it.

Or maybe my subconscious just knew it will taste horrid.

It's 5:45 am and I'm on my third cup of coffee. Wake up everybody. It's a nice day. It's raining out.

I’m dreading work this morning. I have to finish dealing with the customer from Friday. I guess I should go ahead and schedule that service call. I hate that they handed this the way they did and have basically forced me into doing this when we never drive out that far for a call.

    Good luck with that.
