Good morning people, hoping today is a good day for everyone. Plans are to shop a little bit, deep clean one of my computers, and continue my basement cleaning/organizing campaign. And I really need to inoculate some grain spawn and agar dishes. To do that, I need to make a "still air box". It's a storage bin with 2 holes cut in the side for my hands/arms and provides a somewhat sterile environment with little to no air movement. A heckuva lot cheaper than a Laminar flow hood. A diy one costs $400+. I'll take my cheap plastic bin for now

Really random question. What do you get for the gal that has everything? My oldest daughter is about impossible to shop for. Any ideas appreciated.
A good book? Maybe something like a donation in their name? I.e., i was thinking about a Christmas gift for one of my nieces, where I make a donation in her name to WWF and she gets a little cute plushy animal.

If she reads I'd look at getting a Kindle - I love mine.

Same here, I love love love mine. I still like paper copies, but it's hard to beat the fact I can take my entire library anywhere.. plus with things like Project Gutenberg, https://www.gutenberg.org/
,something like 60k ebooks are available for free. They are all old books, and a lot of classics, that have gone past their copyrights.

I just noticed that one of the mixes I took out is what I think is my only tobacco mix. I put a bit of Stixx Aged Burley in a mix. My idea in writing the recipe is it won’t be a tobacco mix. The little tobacco in it should just blend in. We’ll see if that works out.

I got my new flavors put away in their cases a little bit ago.
I have them divided by brand but need to get them labeled as I have too many now to find by memory.
I'm thinking labels on the inside of the case lids will be the best way for my setup.

Label the cases, by case number, side and slot. Create a spreadsheet or at least a table to track, and write the case/side/slot on each bottle. Easier to put back that way :)

So for my oldest daughter I have gotten, a Yankee candle, Estée Lauder White Diamonds perfume, a yeti coffee cup with her name on it and a lighthouse tea light holder. Just need another gift or two.

Two one pound bags of gourmet coffee?
