An inside source told me that the Chef's name was bought by some company called Dark Star. I haven't heard of them before. They bought the name but not the recipes so the old chef's guys started a new site called flavourcravers that is only carrying one shots to start out until they get going.
DarkStar is a one shot company, so that make sense if they want to expend

Texted Uncle earlier to ask if it was OK to call him then. He responded that he was having dialysis and he'd call shortly. In his typical tongue-in-cheek way...also said he had a "surprise" to tell me, that would likely make me ecstatic and have me standing on my head and spitting out wooden nickels.
Here's an update he asked me to post:
He'd finally felt well enough to go for coffee and/or tea with some friends. When trying to get up and sit on a barstool type chair, his foot slipped off the footrung, and down he went to the floor. Landed on his hip, leg, and back. So, he's in the hospital again ...this time with a broken tibia and surgery hopefully scheduled for tomorrow. Was a good thing it wasn't a broken hip. He was told surgery wouldn't involve plates and pins, but was 1 level up from that, which would be less involved.

On the vaping front……I lost my recipes. After checking obvious places I finally decided to check in my lists. I have a large paper chip holding my lists together. Sure enough my paper with recipes was in between my lists. After that I don’t feel like mixing a seven flavor recipe. SMT’s. I may mix my cheesecake though.

I got my cheesecake mixed. Maybe tackle the cake tomorrow.
I was bored so I wrote a recipe. May see if I can get another. They sure don’t go to waste.
Seeing a company handle things like that doesn't make me want to buy anything from them.

Didn’t have any more luck with recipes. Can’t keep my mind on them long enough. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
The recipe I did write is a Peanut Butter Wafer and I may mix that tomorrow. Maybe I can do the cake also.
Totally agree, Nevans has a juice line, is considered to be very skilled too.
But, I don't see Chef's having the Nevans line there at the moment. I would assume he mixed the concentrates for Chef back in the day.
But the fact that they kick him out of the group without him having said a word...is...
