I hope you post photos of the new additions and deck areas. Having your own kitchen will be nice.
Yeah, I’ll have room for my coffeepot and a microwave. Plus I’ll have a little frig. No stove.

That sounds really nice. More room!!!
As in cabinet space. A big YES. Dd wants to paint the cabinets a light gray. I really don’t care if she paints them purple. I’m only concerned with all the stuff I can put inside. If it were my house the cabinets wound get stain and varnish but as I said. I don’t care.

LOL. DD1 called and wants her hubs out. Says he's driving her nuts!!! She asked if he could return to work, immediately. Mom said "nope, not today".

They have a small house on our property not far from ours. He's currently outside playing with their GSD in the snow.

@FranC, it sounds like you will have much more room for all your stuff with the new cabinets. And a big plus on having your own bathroom too.
I kinda warmed to the idea of a bathroom. I can actually have my stuff in my bathroom.

Windy and cold here, and it is also my wife's birthday. We kind of had an argument last night so we'll see how it goes. Probably get something good to eat.
    Happy Birthday to your wife,

He did. Texted us and said DD1 said "take yourself and the dog outside NOW".

I texted him back with "sneak on over to one of the stables, use stealth, avoid watching eyes, if you get caught don't mention me".

Between the contractor and his subs this is costing around 100 grand.
To limit the cost of more sub-contractors SIL will be doing the wiring, Dd will do the tile floor in bathroom. Gd’s hubby will do the heat. Plumbing’s in question.

I had a surprise in the mailbox...a check from the IRS. At first I was upset because it was much lower than my expected return. It was only for $150 and I'm expecting my return to be nearly $900. I checked on the status of my return and it's still only at the "received" stage. I called the IRS (was on hold for over an hour) and asked. Apparently the check was a refund from 2019 when I was making payments because of my daughter's Obamacare. They revised the amount I owed downward and sent me a refund. It's already in my savings account. Whoopee! And I'm still getting the $900 soon.

BTW, the high school marquee said the temperature was 77. I hope we don't get any more of that cold weather. I'm ready for spring.
