    I had a surprise in the mailbox...a check from the IRS. At first I was upset because it was much lower than my expected return. It was only for $150 and I'm expecting my return to be nearly $900. I checked on the status of my return and it's still only at the "received" stage. I called the IRS (was on hold for over an hour) and asked. Apparently the check was a refund from 2019 when I was making payments because of my daughter's Obamacare. They revised the amount I owed downward and sent me a refund. It's already in my savings account. Whoopee! And I'm still getting the $900 soon.

    BTW, the high school marquee said the temperature was 77. I hope we don't get any more of that cold weather. I'm ready for spring.
    Congrats on the extra $150

    Good morning ladies & gentlemans,

    I stick to NN, Chefs may be back, running super offer after super offer, but I stick to the ones that are stable.
    I have not bought any flavors In a long time, but I looked at the Flavor art ones, what the heck are "Dark Arts" :?:

    KAS

    I should have read on a bit further, never mind. :|

    I would guess that they call rebottled flavors Dark Art, something similar Chef's did in their time, but I don't remember what Chefs called them though.

    Somewhere between here and there
    I was looking at some sale ads that came in the mail today and saw a cabinet that might be a good fit for vaping supplies in the basement. I mentioned it to the wife and got the stink eye. She said she doesn’t want another cabinet and that I need to go through my stuff instead of buying more storage. Unfortunately I know she’s right. I have this one wall where I could put in some kitchen style cabinets and a counter top that would make a great work station but wouldn’t do it unless I got rid of some stuff first. I need to stop hoarding and let some stuff go.

    @ShowMeTwice @DLKnives @hittman

    Guys, thank you for the laughs. As a sometimes-grumpy wife, I know your pain. I took a day off this week because I hadn't been sleeping well and was reduced to a zombie state. No sleep and I can be crankier than a 2 yr old who needs a nap. Poor hubby. I do try to warn him so he can leave me alone or jump to whatever I happen to want at the moment (LOL). I shared some of your tribulations with him and SMT's post. Yup, he knew where you were coming from. Fortunately, we both laughed. You have his sympathy.

    I bet you have a whole lot of stuff that you know you’ll never use again. I can’t even imagine the amount of stuff you have.

    I now have 2 reasons to visit KC - ribs and to help hittman clean out his stuff. Always willing to help with a project like that :lol:
