I do usually have to fuss with Cloudy (Solo) a bit after wicking due to either leaking or slightly dry hits.All this talk about rabbits almost makes me want to dig mine back out. At least I know where they are now. I have two. I think one is fat and one is dead but not sure without looking.
There does seem to be a pretty fine line between working great and having some issues.
I don't have near as much experience as most of you folks here though.
Lately I've been getting the best results with a little thinning/fluffing the tails and having them showing in the ports but not touching the bottom. (using cotton)
I know some do it this way all the time, but I thought early on I had good results without doing it like that.
I find it fairly easy to take the deck out even with a half a tank or so to trim the wicks a bit. I plug up the tip with some paper towel just to be safe.
