I’ ve never heard of the Gaur but it’s nice looking. No mechs here. If worse comes to worse I have a box full of old mods that have never been used.
    Just one box?

We're back home. Was pretty quick, didn't know she made an appointment for me. We walked in and they took us within a couple minutes.

Doc Lady did a covid PCR test even though we did three at home tests (all negative). Waiting on them to call with the results. If I'm positive she wants me to start Paxlovid immediately cuz I'm high risk. They took some blood (dang vampires!!!) to check for something or other.

My chest is pretty congested up. Feels like a dang elephant is sittin' on it. Based on her exam, doesn't think I have a bacterial chest infection or pneumonia. I've had pneumonia before, was nasty, I was in hospital for three weeks then home rest for a couple more. Sucked.

Doc Lady gave me a couple inhaler medications while in the exam room. Waited a half hour for those to do their thing, she rechecked my chest again, said it sounded better, prescribed both meds.

If I get worse then I'm supposed to come back. More rest. I'm still mighty tired. Don't feel like vaping or much of anything really. Oh well, it'll all work out!!!
That's kind of scary. I hope they can figure it out.

I'm not a doctor and have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express, but if you ask me this is just a nasty cold. It will work its way outta me and I'll be fine!!! :thumb:

I'm curious, what pg/vg ratio do you guys vape at? I usually vape at 40 to 50 watts, the last few years I used 30/pg/70vg. I tried a 50/50 ratio, I noticed a bit less cloud production, and a bit more flavor. Flavor is much more important to me than clouds.
On the other hand I like a cool vape with just a little throat hit.

I vape roughly 75% pg and 25% vg.

I'm guessing that you got bronchitis as a result of a viral Upper respiratory infection. Did the doctor prescribe any antibiotics? Bronchitis isn't pneumonia and so you won't hear it in the lungs, but the story fits...having a cold, then getting better before getting worse. Bronchitis doesn't usually turn into pneumonia, but it can. Usually it will resolve, but faster with antibiotics. I'm not your doctor though, and maybe she thinks it's still viral.

    More pods?
Worse, disposables. Also the meson rta.

I’ve been using 70vg/30pg for a long time but was thinking lately about going 50/50 to try. I wouldn’t mind less vapor and more flavor would be great. Depending on the setup I go anywhere from 20-45 watts. Much over 45 is usually a bit too warm for me.

Well, the Meson will be interesting anyway.

I think I'm going to try a compromise of 60vg/40pg.

She mentioned antibiotics but felt we should hold off for now. If I'm not getting better then yes.

This started as a cold with a runny nose and rather wicked headache last Thursday. On Friday I quickly developed full blown chest congestion and cough. Chest pressure and shortness of breath. Very fatigued. Same symptoms as bronchitis.

Yesterday I did feel better but not anywhere near 100%. Woke up feeling very fatigued this morning like I was before yesterday. The same symptoms I mentioned above all remain.

Continued below because Zazie mentioned two meds...

I was thinking bronchitis, too. Prednisone and an albuterol inhaler helped me when I had a bad round of it twenty years ago. I was put on a course of antibiotics as well, but only as a precaution. It was the steroids that did the trick.
I was prescribed Albuterol and Flovent HFA (fluticasone propionate) inhalers. Fluticasone is a corticosteroid used to treat difficulty breathing, chest tightness, wheezing, coughing and decreases swelling and irritation in the airways for easier breathing. Albuterol is prescribed to treat bronchitis, shortness of breath, coughing etc.

Doc Lady felt those would be best for now. The Albuterol is helping for sure. I've only had one dose of Flovent thus far, so I can't really tell what it's doing. I can only take that once in the morning and once at night.

Before last Thursday my breathing was perfectly fine. This silly viral cold or whatever has whooped me pretty good but it ain't gonna beat me!!! Health-wise I've dealt with far worse and come out on top, so like I've been saying, I'll be fine. :)

I do wish that you’ll be fine a bit faster.
