My gd Heather, who is renting my house has three feet of snow on the ground and no power.
We had a pretty mild winter til we got to March. We've also had a very mild winter and I never even started the snowblower. The grass is starting to grow so it will be time to mow soon, That is if we can break out of these 30-40 degree days. We are catching a break today and tomorrow but then it's going to cool off again. I think we are usually warmer than this by now.
Good morning to you.Good morning
Her and I just finished the morning chores. Enjoying my one cup of coffee atm.![]()
Good morning FranGood morning to you.Guess I don’t have to chase you down today. Still feeling good?
How is dd1’s foot?
Well, that is much good news.Good morning FranYes, I'm feeling 100% better. Per the x-rays from her doc appt DD1's stress fracture is healed.
Glad to hear from youHello mixers. Long time since I’ve been here.
We broke records with highs in the 80s. It’s cool today though and went below freezing the last two nights. Last weekend son and I cleaned up the back yard of sticks and leaves and mowed. I mowed the front and sides yesterday. Ugh…mowing season is already here.
We have been very busy. Son was hired for his first job out of college and he starts Monday. He also bought his first car. We both took this week off to take care of some stuff and it has been nice. I’m thinking of retiring and getting a new job myself. I’m just overworked at my current job and it’s time for a change.
Hope everyone has a nice day!
We are very proud of him! He has worked very hard and he got a great job with good benefits. The last six months or so have been extremely busy for me and I’m hoping to get back to boring pretty soon.Glad to hear from youIt sounds like your son is doing really well and you both have been really busy. Please try to not be a stranger here.
Hoping your boring gets back soon.We are very proud of him! He has worked very hard and he got a great job with good benefits. The last six months or so have been extremely busy for me and I’m hoping to get back to boring pretty soon.
My gd lives about 25 minutes north of here and got three feet and power loss. She just got power back a bit ago.We lucked out with only 4-5" of slush and snow, didn't lose power either. Shift only 5 a minute drive to the west and the total was over a foot. One town (further west) had 29". What a payload just 2 weeks before Spring, I am soooo ready for Spring!
I use batteries til they get old then dump them. Couple of years ago I started buying batteries and keeping them in a tub in the fridge, set to 3.5V. People said that's the most efficient storage method.I’m charging 3 of my old batteries. Won’t be needed them for awhile but at least they’ll have a charge when I need them.
