I think they breed at night ;)

But sounds like it's all starting to pull together. Do they have an estimated completion date?
I've been trying to answer you and this keeps screwing up. I'll try again. Before they started they gave an estimated time of 3 and a half weeks. I don't know if they've given a new estimate but at a guess they have a little over a week on the first one. They aren't here today.

I'm not sure what they still have to do upstairs but in the basement they need to make an entrance into the original basement. Still need to take the windows out between rooms. Also need to make the doorways between rooms. Insulation and sheetrock still needs to be done. The roofing is done. They also need to do the decks on each side/

Sounds like that will be a super nice setup once finished. That couldn't have been cheap. When our house was first built and we moved in, I wanted to find someone to add on to the back side of our garage to make it tandem on one side but at the time construction was booming and no one wanted to pull people off to do a little job like that. I ended up having a shed built in that space instead.

Oh yes, it’s hit over 100 grand but it will be nice. I believe the cellar addition is a very good part of that cost. They did all the concrete last fall and finished closing it off this spring. They still need to make the entrance into the original basement.

Yes, the weather may have pushed that a little. And the rest of what you mentioned can go really fast with a good crew :)

    Is everything ok?

All is good and well Fran. Thanks for asking.

This is a very busy time of the year. Horses coming and going. And busy with some other things too. I have my irons in the fire on a few things. Too early to say what.

    I'm back in the city for a little while . . .

    It's 81°F/27°C here . . . oh well, it's a beautiful Sunny but summerish kinda day.
It was perfect this morning long before sunrise at 54°F/12°C when Carli dog and I went for our walk. 54° is tank top and sandals weather for me.

Good evening. The wife is finally going to do our taxes. I’m a little scared. This is the first year in many that we haven’t had college expenses to deduct. I hope we don’t owe much.

College expenses are quite pricy. You could come out paying less overall.

Yesterday I dug out an old STM and set it up. Haven't used one of them in a good while. There was an old bottle of banana cream juice on the shelf so I filled it up with that. The banana mix has probably been sitting there for over a year and it didn't taste quite right. I've got a few other old mixes on the shelf so I guess I'll try some of them and get rid of any that have gone off. Earl Grey is one that seems to get better the longer it sits.
