College expenses are quite pricy. You could come out paying less overall.
We ended up owing about 1700. First thing I’m going to do is increase my 401k deduction to offset some of it. I may still need to increase the weekly taxes withheld also. On a happier note, I got my medicine cabinet assembled. It took about an hour. It was all in pieces and there was about 100 screws to install.
Yesterday I dug out an old STM and set it up. Haven't used one of them in a good while. There was an old bottle of banana cream juice on the shelf so I filled it up with that. The banana mix has probably been sitting there for over a year and it didn't taste quite right. I've got a few other old mixes on the shelf so I guess I'll try some of them and get rid of any that have gone off. Earl Grey is one that seems to get better the longer it sits.
I need to do that myself. I know I’ve got some pretty old mixes in my cabinet that have probably turned bad.

    That’s a lot of screws.

Today I get to watch the family workers. Dd and SIL will be doing the wiring, switches, plugs, lights including outside lights, smoke detectors etc. Gd’s hubs will do the heating and gd will help whoever needs it. The base board heater in my room needs to be moved because it’s in the way of progress. That should be fun in a room with no extra room.

That must have been a pain to put together.
It was a bit of a pain but was well built and everything lined up nicely. This is what it looks like. I’ll get it mounted today.

Well, I haven’t got to watch the family any. Dd is on the way to the clinic. She has four squashed fingers and she’s bleeding. Not sure exactly how it happened but an accident with a power drill.

    Ouch! I hope she's okay.

She has a break at the end of her finger and a cut there that extends under her fingernail. Doctor is going to numb the fingers and stitch the cuts. Then brace the one figure.
She also has a fraction within the cut on that finger.

That’s terrible. It sounds like she will be ok but isn’t going to be able to help with anything else. I’m glad it wasn’t too serious.

    Morning, mixers.

Not sure exactly how it happened but an accident with a power drill.

Dang, not a good start to her work day! I suspect the bit got jammed and the drill motor torque did the dirty deed. Bummer.

The sun breaks are due to end this afternoon. Oh, well, we did have one day :)

Yes, me too. I did not like seeing tears in her eyes. She never cry’s even though she’s in pain every day.
