I must have been exhausted. Work went well yesterday and I got off at 2pm. I then went to visit my mother for a little while. I got home and fell asleep until 1:30am. I promptly fell asleep again, fully clothed and with my contacts in. I only got one cup of coffee this morning. It's now time to take a shower and get ready for Mass.

The window and fan are no longer behind my bed. I had cold air coming thru the fan yesterday so I closed the curtains. Woke up this morning to a very chilly 60. Pulled the fan out of the window and it’s warming up slowly now. The sun will help a lot with that,

    Morning, mixers.

Still summer here, breaking daily high temp records all around the Sound... and more of the same today. Maybe some thunderstorms late today, but no break on the temp... and IF those storms actually happen, not much water in 'em...

Hoping you cool off soon. I will take our cool temps over your high ones.

Yup. Or at least get us back to cooler nights. Only down to 60 last night, but at least "low" enough to have a chance to pull the inside temp down some before the heat comes back.

Guess is mid 80s for much of the rest of the week. From late winter to mid summer in two days is a bit much.

Our dog didn't eat her dry food Saturday evening like she usually does. I wonder if she was mad at us for being outside without her for so long trimming the bushes around the house. I was a little concerned because she usually begs for her food but just ignored it that night. However, after we took my MiL to eat yesterday, we came home and I fed her and she ate fine so I guess everything is ok.

    I agree.

I hope she will be fine. She could have been a bit mad at you. It’s normal to worry about our pets,

All my batteries were dead and my tanks were empty, so I did a massive battery swap and refill. However, I couldn't get my Battlestar squonker to power up, so I think it's dead, Jim. I broke out a new one and build it, and I'm back in business.
