It doesn't matter if you trim off the top or from the sides of the wick tails. There is no advantage to trimming off the top, one side, both sides or the bottom. I've done all four and have no preference for one over the other.

Ah yes, the Lemo. Those were originally billed as the kayfun killer (funny, the Lemo's died-off instead). Somewhere in my stash I have an OG Lemo (bottom fill/internal AF adjustment) and a couple Lemo 2's (topfill/external AF adjustment). There was also a Lemo 3. The Lemo's are very fussy when it comes to wicking. My kayfun's have never been fussy with wicking. My KFLv2's and Russian 91%'s are very easy to wick.

I do switch off between cotton and rayon in all my RTA's and rda's. Both have always worked well for me. I have no preference for one over the other.
I remember the talk about the Lemo when it first came out. There was one other tank that was being talked about in the same way but can't remember its name. I got the Lemo because the other one was more expensive and harder to find. Got my wife to buy me one for Christmas, think it cost around $70 and it took me months to really get it to work. Liked it in the end though. At one point they were selling them off for $5 so I ended up with a bunch.

It was easier back then. You could scan ECF and there would be a handful of tanks or mods being talked up, now there are hundreds.

Even though there are hundreds of RTA's available these days, each and every one of their roots, and parts of their designs, can be traced back to SvoëMesto.

Every single manufacturer initially copied SvoëMesto's RTA designs (to varying degrees). Chinese manufacturers are still copying SvoëMesto designs ( thieves  ).

Quite frankly, and being brutally honest, there really is not much of a difference in the quality of vape, or flavor, between a SvoëMesto Kayfun Lite Plus (2014) and any of the current RTA's out there. There is only so much one can do with an RTA design.

SvoëMesto released the K5 in 2016 to address calls for a restricted DL and DL RTA (3.2mm AF). And Chinese manufacturers copied that design too.

When I say "copied" I do not mean "clones" (even though the Chinese cloned every RTA). Copied as in, implemented SvoëMesto designs into their own products ( intellectual property theft  ).

I've never had a genuine Kayfun, just KFL clones. I would be happy with just those. Still like the Lemos and STMs for a more airy vape sometimes. Someone gave me a KFL that had been drilled out for more air and that is interesting, thinking I might try some drilling myself.

I agree with what you said. I've tried a handful of other tanks and the improvement over KFL was minor.

Dd is off to baseball practice with her young-un. Took a peek in her new room. It is almost all mudded also except for the wall where the window came out. It is the same on my side except it's the bathroom on my side.

Dd is going to tile my shower walls and the bathroom floor. Thankfully for her, the floor is pretty small.

After the Sheetrock/mudding is done it will be time to paint. We will be doing the painting and flooring I think. Could be mistaken?
