Morning, mixers.

Said to be clearing up today, after a couple days of light rain. Plants are happy, and the hoses were also happy to get a few days off. :)

Omnivores here as well :) Although we do generally get our meats from a local butcher, local critters. Place has been there for probably 100 years, family owned throughout. And they do have a keen sense of "reputation", well deserved.

Finally got my mower parts in yesterday, new spindles. Spun a bearing on one last time I mowed, right on the last pass. (Now how the heck did that happen, waiting to fail until I was done??) So a couple hours there.

Those spindle bearings take a beating. Grease fittings don't do much if they put double shielded bearings in them. I was glad when they subbed out the mowing where I used to work because fixing the mowers and weedeaters was not much fun.

That they do. But surprisingly stout :) New ones do have zerks, but says they're pre-greased. Gong to give them a few strokes anyway.

All 4 cabinets are attached. Top ones are about full. Bottom not quite. Nothing in the big bottom cabinet til the plumber comes back and does his thing. That won’t be til Dd tiles the shower. She is busy for the next two weekends so it will be away.
No pics til the mess is gone.

I’m happy for you getting more space and storage. I’m sure it feels good. Did you get your patio furniture yet from Amazon?

Yes, the little set is on my deck. I like it. I will have more room once I get to use the big bottom cabinet. Right now I have that stuff in a much smaller bottom cabinet. But it's a plus that I had room for it. I also have the 3 drawer cabinet that is almost empty right now.

Too bad they don't use tapered rollers like the old wheel bearings you could repack, they'd last as long as the mower. They don't want that though. :)

I haven't eaten steak of any kind since I was a kid. Never cared for red meat, pork etc. etc.

Love eating fish. She made us a couple nice swordfish steaks last week. Her and I are the only ones that eat fish. Everyone else here is 100% vegetarian.
I don't like steak but my wife loves it. I get sirloin from a local butcher. Steak is the only thing she cooks, I'm the cook round here. She cooks it almost raw which makes me gag. I eat tiny pieces from the cooked edges of mine and she finishes it off the next day.

Yeah, although the sealed ones do last a long time. The mower is going to be a teen ager next year, So no complaints :) Gave it new blades as well while it was up on the saw horses. Belts were fine, though of course they get periodically replaced.

And, of course, most of their customers aren't mechanically inclined, or just don't care to take the time for periodic maintenance. Can't say as I blame them, either :)

I spent 24 years keeping 100 year old generators cranking out the megawatts, after 15 building / repairing ships. Hand tools are no stranger, and can't see paying someone to do what I can do myself. I'm sure that day will come!

    who has the best(clearest) nicotine?
Out of curiosity, does anyone vape with zero nicotine?

Haven't bought any in several years, but Heartland Vapes has always been clear as water. And, imo, usually the cheapest.

LOL. I like mine medium rare.
