Fortunately, it wasn't. Ortho doc said she was very lucky, it could have been much worse. She had to lie in a field in pain for an hour until medics arrived. Kept blacking out. It is really scary and probably ends her riding days. Now I need to sell two horses on top of trying to help my daughter and GD.

Flood warnings still up and yes it is raining.Well over an inch is expected and that really sucks. Storms will move in about midday. Thankfully we are going to have 2 dry days after today. It's not enough to dry anything out but glad to have it. Then back to 6 more days of rain This really bites.

That rain left here last night and it's really nice and cooler now. I think I've got a wren nest in one of my window boxes (petunias) he got on the window screen and started singing. That's one loud little bird even I can hear especially 6ft. away .

One of our main highways isn't passable. One side of the rosd is just gone and there looks like a river running under the other side.
This is just awful. There's a lot of folks that live around a couple lakes here and some can't get out or back in.
There is a road somewhere under that water.

Doctor called, said surgery went well. He didn't elaborate beyond that and they are keeping her overnight again.
Ok now. Can I see.Island girl,cheesecake and Lava Flow. Not sure where to separate the recipes.
