Good morning, rose. :) It seems like we always have an advisary, watch or warning.

Nice and sunny right now but there is a Flood Watch up for afternoon storms.

    Weather says 85 for today.
Hope it doesn't flood, those are scary. I lived on an island in Fl for a few months and always worried about flooding during hurricanes and not being able to get off the island.

I wouldn't want to live on an island in Fl, or anywhere really.

    Morning, mixers.

Still nice here, still no rain, and they claim somebody will be turning the thermostat back up around mid week. Hopefully not too far!

At least, since we're well past summer solstice, the daylight is waning, so there's less time to heat up :)

Hope your temps don't get too high. Also will hope you at least get a little rain.

Last night we had our first big thunder, lightning and downpour of the Summer. I sat on the porch just taking it all in. It was totally awesome.
For that weather I'd much rather watch from inside. You never know what lightning will do.

July and August are usually mostly dry, but not like this. Mid September is generally when the rains come back, but who knows... otoh, the temps haven't gone as high or as long as past summers, so kind of a mixed bag. But rough on the forests, and that damage might not show up for some time.

My theory is if it doesn't rain for a few days in W WA, everyone should be concerned about weather changes. I am serious. In the 44 years I lived there, I don't remember many days without some rain, except for August.

The weather patterns, and climate changes, experienced all around the world are the direct result of global warming caused by humans.

There is NO going back to the weather days, or climates, of old.

What we are currently experiencing is child's play compared to what is to come. The heat will get warmer. Storms will become more violent and unpredictable.

The science is true and undeniable.

I'm sure it's very rough on the forests. I think that's sad.
