Just found out that dd will be back Thursday like I thought but not til around 10pm . Soooooo I can call that an extra day.

It sure was GOOD, nice and chocolatey, cream on the inside was heavenly. Nearly to die for!!! Yummy........... looks good hey???

She bought 3 from one of our local bakeries this morning. One for Her, one for me, none for the kids (LOL). We'll split the one in the photo later. She did buy regular old donuts for our daughters and their spouses. LOLx100, she hid the eclairs from them. Very Smart Momma!!!

A couple weeks back I received a jury summons. One of my doctors wrote a letter informing them that I could not partake due to medical reasons.
Excellent news just arrived in the mail. The Milwaukee County clerk of circuit court jury management sent me a letter excusing me from the upcoming jury duty. The best part though, was this......
"You have been excused permanently from jury service in Milwaukee County."
Permanently. Okay, cool.

We have a couple vegan bakeries around here. There are also a a few regular bakeries here that have been around for decades. The one where we got the eclairs from has been around since the 50s.
The eclairs are not vegan. Her and I are not on strict vegetarian/vegan diets. We do some regular dairy here and there. Not much though.
There are some vegan bakeries and several vegetarian/vegan restaurants in Nashville.
Sadly, I know that one. We did a big upgrade in Jun 2022. As a sys admin, I had 33 videos to watch and a practice area too. Managers and users had subsets of the videos. Each week we got a report that showed how many of the assigned videos each person had done. IIRC, only 3 or 4 people out of 25+ actually did all of their assigned videos. Some, including a sr manager, didn't even log in to the training site. ARGH! Now that manager is overriding the system and breaking the rules that were put in place. We're about to take that privilege away from him.

Howdy random folks. I'm home now and managed a little nap. Mobility is a big issue. They gave me a walker at the hospital, which is a step up from the crutches, but still not easy getting around. I had a devil of a time getting from the car into the house. My knee scooter is still out for delivery but it being this late in the day, I may not get it. I've been using a wheeled office chair to get around.
Hope it arrives soon. Be careful with the chair, they can get away from you (don't ask how I know).

I called the post office about my scooter. I have an advantage since I have the cellphone number of the clerk. Apparently, there were a lot of big Amazon packages today. The carrier couldn't fit them into her vehicle so will deliver them after she finishes her route. So I'll get the scooter today.
