Good morning. I woke up a little bit before my alarm and didn’t realize what time it was so laid back down. Then like ten minutes later it went off. I really could have gone back to sleep this morning.
I woke up at 5 and wanted to go back to sleep but that didn't work.

    You got this Fran!!!

On a Windows PC you don't even need a special app, or a website, to resize an image. Windows already has what you need.

Right-click on an image, in the menu that pops up select "resize pictures". An image resizer window will open, choose the image size that you want from the list (or enter a custom size), select the options that you want, and then click "Resize."

Easy enough if ya ask me.
If I right click on an image I don't get that.

    Morning, mixers.

Still smoke in the air, although that did keep the temp down yesterday. Claim is the winds are shifting, and it will all blow east later today. Still no rain, and none in sight.

I wonder how long it took to nail up all those branches... ;)

You certainly are overdue for some good weather and rain.

Yeah, rain would be good :)

Other than last week's run over 90, temps this summer haven't been real bad. Short stretches that high are bearable, and we've only had, I think, three of those. Past summers, those have been in the weeks long, and a bit of a challenge. We've not had to roll out the portable AC, although came close a couple times ;)

    Last year :)

I'm glad you have that portable for when the need arises.

I have so far tried Paint and Google photos. What is so easy for you folks isn't that easy for me. Right now I think Google is easier but IDK. Don't feel like playing with them anymore right now.
I went into Paint and wrote down the steps.

    - right click on picture file
    - click on Open With and select Paint (not Paint 3D)
    - when Paint opens, click on option Resize
    - make sure Maintain Aspect Ratio box is selected
    - the Horizontal and Vertical fields should both be set to 100, change either of them to 50
    - click on OK
    - click on File
    - hold cursor on Save As, then over to JPEG. Click
    - Choose a new name for your file (make sure you are saving to the Desktop)
    - Save

If it's still too big you need to go through those steps again with the new file.

    Maybe that will help.

There are lots of other ways to resize a pic but this seems like the easiest one.
