That's Snoqualmie Falls, just east of Seattle. 40 minute ride, give or take.

I got a new toy today, a riding lawnmower. Been thinking about it for a while, but daughter's boyfriend called today and said he had found one second hand, the exact model he has himself. It's a John Deere and looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. He got it for $900, they are about $2500 new. Made some space in the garage and rolled it in. He didn't get here until 8.00 so it was too late to try it out.

The kid next door was doing my lawn but now he's back at school and doesn't have time. Since then it's either been raining or up in the 90's. I have most of an acre to mow and I can't take that kind of heat anymore. Grass is really long. It should be down in the 80's next week and no rain forecast. Time to have some fun. Still need to get the push mower out a bit because the yard is full of trees and bushes and places I won't be able to get to with the rider.

I'm quite excited. Will post a pic when I take it out Monday.

Hope you enjoy it and don't get too hot
