    Somewhere between here and there
Good evening. I spent about 2/3 of the day setting up stuff in our new system. It got a little monotonous but now it’s done. I also got assigned another task for next week. That on top of my regular work. I won’t be bored that’s for sure.

    Sounds like plenty to do.

    Glad you liked it!

Yep, that's the same method I used, to drill them out. Let the pin 'float' somewhat, in the rubber. The drill bit & pin find their groove, to keep the bit centered.

As for marking the tanks, I've used this quick & dirty method to identify what KFL gets what juice. I have dedicated tank / juice combos, so this helps me prevent filling the tank with the wrong juice.

I ordered an o ring assortment a long time ago, and just picked a fat one to stretch over the top section of the KFL. The same o ring has been on that KFL for at least 3 years. When I wash / rinse the KFL's I never separate the 3 tank sections anyway, so the o ring just stays there.

Might be a temporary solution to 'mark' the drilled out ones.
    Hey Doug

I was going to reply on our PM chat when I decided to try my hand at drilling because I had some questions but couldn't find that chat and couldn't remember your handle. The chat is actually still there, must have had a brain glitch that day. So thanks for responding to my post here.

I've got three drilled out KFLs now. One is on a Provari, one on a Z80, and one on a Pico. I only have 6 setups going, the 3 KFLs plus a couple of Lemos and a BB, so it isn't hard to keep track of them.

Noticed something on one of the pins I drilled. I was using a gold colored drill bit and realised I could see the gold color at the bottom of one thread on the pin. There is actually a tiny hole there. Maybe it was just an extra deep thread or some drilling oddity. It works fine though.

Anyway, thanks for getting me going on this. KFLs were always my favorite tank and I like them way more drilled out, they have the perfect amount of air for me. I'll probably drill out a few more. I can always go back if I change my mind, I have a bag of spare pins and loads of KFLs.

    cheers Mick

A few new flavours arrived this afternoon!! I've written a couple of more tasty recipes and needed to get the flavours to mix it up and while I was shopping I decided to grab myself just a couple of extra for future mixing:w00t: image.jpg
Now I need to sort them out in my new nail polish cases!

Good morning. Woke up this morning and my right eye is irritated. Every day it seems it’s something new. I really need to try to get a review done this weekend. It’s getting harder to find time to do them. I’m glad it’s been pretty slow.

    And so it begins...

Very nice, Dan, I hope we'll see some of your creations soon!

Be careful though, the effects of being bitten by the Flavour Bug can be chronic.
You might end up with a flavour cabinet larger than the one for your Good Wood!

Good morning, hitt.:) Sorry about your eye. You've been really busy at work. Hopefully your weekend will be quiet.
