I was going to reply on our PM chat when I decided to try my hand at drilling because I had some questions but couldn't find that chat and couldn't remember your handle. The chat is actually still there, must have had a brain glitch that day. So thanks for responding to my post here.

I've got three drilled out KFLs now. One is on a Provari, one on a Z80, and one on a Pico. I only have 6 setups going, the 3 KFLs plus a couple of Lemos and a BB, so it isn't hard to keep track of them.

Noticed something on one of the pins I drilled. I was using a gold colored drill bit and realised I could see the gold color at the bottom of one thread on the pin. There is actually a tiny hole there. Maybe it was just an extra deep thread or some drilling oddity. It works fine though.

Anyway, thanks for getting me going on this. KFLs were always my favorite tank and I like them way more drilled out, they have the perfect amount of air for me. I'll probably drill out a few more. I can always go back if I change my mind, I have a bag of spare pins and loads of KFLs.

Really glad it's working out for you, Mick.

After using both, I decided I liked the tighter draw of the stock KFL a little better. I had 8 KFL's and drilled out 4 of them. I think I'm down to 1 or 2 drilled now, which is fine. The KFL's are so bullet proof, I have no doubt that my little stash will outlast me.

I agree, that one little hole on the end of the pin shouldn't be an issue.

It worked out well for both of us!

I've had a drawv base sitting on my desk forever waiting for a new o-ring. I finally gave it a new oring and guess I should wick it now.

It just doesn't seem like I've done much today but I have two drawvs ready to go. I also took some mixes out of my big case to fill my divider. In the process I got more "use up" mixes which I should just call test mixes.

Sunny, 86 and hot. At least some better than the 90's of yesterday. Weather is now saying 81 for tomorrow but finally in the 70's by Sunday, hopefully.

I have 3 test mixes using 2 of the newer chocolates (WF Pudding Milk Chcolate and WF Ice cream dark chocolate).
In one mix I added SSA Ice Cream, in other mix I added Cap.Milkshake and in the last mix I added FLV. Van Pudding.
One of those is going in a drawv now.

I mixed 4 new recipes recently. Two of them I'm really happy with, mango cream and blueberry menthol. Blackcurrant meringue is close to being good. Still needs some work, it's a little harsh. Just mixed another batch with slightly less blackcurrant, less meringue, and some marshmallow. Hoping it will be smoother and a little sweeter. No progress at all with strawberry. That's a hard one for a lot of people so it might not work for me. Still trying though.

Mango Cream

WF Island Mango - 2%
FLV Ripe Mango - 2%
FLV Sweet Mango - 2%
FA Cream Fresh - 1%

I tried this one after a few days and the cream was very strong and didn't taste right, but after 3 weeks it was perfect.

It's possible I put in 1% of FA Meringue as well, my record keeping is disorganised. I can't taste meringue though.

I did try some different amounts of the mangos that I picked up from various recipes, and added some papaya, but in the end this one worked best for me. I do need a lot of fruit to get the taste so it may be a little high for some folks.
