    Home Depot?
I should have said a close place. Yes, we have Lowes and HD and auto stores but most are not close. I did find an oreillys nearby and hope they take them.

Sooooo....... DD2 and I have been working on a Chocolate Éclair mix for quite a while. Been through 7 or 8 test mixes. It's kinda sorta there, but not there.... if that makes any dang sense. Probably doesn't. LOL

The first few mixes were total flops, but we learned from them. The last couple mixes are close, but, something is missing taste-wise..... can't put my finger on it. Yet.

The current pastry base is using SSA Flakey Pastry and SSA Soft Waffle. But, still thinking on that. We have pastry base from the pasticcini mixed. It's also a contender for the éclair.

The current éclair filling is FA Custard Premium, SSA Clotted Cream and FLV Vanilla Pudding. Those work very nicely together, tasty. There is another one that's in the running.

We've tried a few chocolates, none have screamed "I'm the one, use me!!!", yet.

A work in-progress, yep........ oh well, we'll get there!!! :w00t:

Can you turn it into a cream puff - the pastry & filling? I don't do much chocolate so the base could be good too!

I'm moving along a bit with my tobacco absolute attempt.
From reading older threads here I decided to try two different strength dilutions.

These are 1% and 10% TA (50/50 - TA/Everclear 151), 40% EM (10% in PG), with the balance of each in PG.

    20230923_102734~2.jpg

The 10% one works out to about 1/20 TA since it is diluted with the Everclear. I saw that ratio mentioned in my readings. If it ends up too strong I'll dilute it further.

I also saw 1% TA mentioned so am trying that. I kind of think I should have gone 2% since my TA is 50/50 but that is easy to adjust if needed.

I guess I'll let them have a good steep (with some shakes now and then) before I do some test mixes.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good luck with the phone and the bagels.
I got the phone and bagels. It wasn’t supposed to storm until this afternoon and I was going to go out and clean out the shed but it’s thundering already.
