I finally set up the Asmodus Luna I got from the classifieds with a brand new dead rabbit solo rda. I filled the bottle with Fran’s shortbread pudding. I haven’t used huckleberry in a long time. It must be a light flavor because I don’t taste it much in the mix.

Huckleberry is a bit light. You can add if you can't taste it well.

Can you turn it into a cream puff - the pastry & filling? I don't do much chocolate so the base could be good too!

Cream Puffs??? Yes, of course!!! I have a rather tasty recipe for those. It came from the never-ending chocolate éclair project.

I'm vaping it now and it is tasty and smooth. Very rich in flavor.

Choux à la Crème (Cream Puffs)

    WF Croissant 3%
    FA Zeppola 1.7%
    FA Vanilla Cookie 0.8%
    FLV Vanilla Pudding 2%
    FA Custard Premium 1.5%
    SSA Clotted Cream 1%
    OOO Powdered Sugar 1%

    Total flavoring: 11%

Steep time: 4 weeks / it is very vapeable and tasty off the mix, but much better steeped / YMMV

    I vaped this from 12.5w MTL to 25w MTL/RDL in RDA's and RTA's. It's a nicely balanced mix.

In essence this is a two part mix. A pastry base and a cream base.

Croissant, Zeppola and Van. Cookie are the base for the cream puff pastry shell (pâte à choux). WF Croissant is an excellent flavor. It has a pleasing buttery note and delightful flakey croissant goodness. Zeppola builds on the pastry shell. Van. Cookie adds very nice vanilla and butter notes, it also adds a wee bit of crunch to the outer pastry shell.

Vanilla Pudding, Custard Premium and Clotted Cream make a rather fine and flavorful pastry filling. Like really nice!!! Super smooth.

And yep, there's that darned powdered sugar again. Confectioners' sugar. It truly does bring bakery mixes to life.

Any fruit or fruit combinations will work with this recipe. A nut flavor would also work nicely (think hazelnut, walnut or pecan).

Add a chocolate, that leans dark, and you have a Boston Cream Puff Pastry (which is pretty darn close to an éclair).

    @Zazie please and thanks. :)

Before hubs got sick we were members of Sam's Club. That was bad enough. Dd is a member of Costco but the store is in Mass.
We’ve had a Sam’s club membership for years but decided this year to sign up for Costco too so we could see what it’s like. There are certain things at Costco that I really like. Sams Club is calm compared to Costco.
