I use these. Cheap but good. I use them to play my computer game after the wife goes to bed. Good choice if you want cheap and comfortable.

They are wired but there are wireless models with Bluetooth, and others that have noise cancelling.

I wasn’t sure what kind. The kids had Beats headphones like that style. I’ve been using plantronics Bluetooth at work for years. They’ve lasted pretty well.
Luckily for me, it turns out my mother is comfortable choosing her own headphones. I'll mention the ones you two and @borno have and leave the rest up to her. I'm quite pleased not to have the responsibility.

We went to the zoo today with GD, husband, and GGD. Some kind of special for kids, there were tables set up on the paths giving out treats and the kids all wore fancy dress. It was fun but cold. Around 60 when we got there but it dropped below 50 by the time we left. Took me by surprise and I only wore a light jacket and tee shirt.

    Morning, mixers.

It actually got warm yesterday, briefly hit 81!! Of course with the shorter daylight it didn't bake the ground. Similar guess for today, then back to the 60s and showers.

I used to do that. Now I only have 6 going. The BB and the Provari don't leave the office so there are only 4 that travel elsewhere. There's always one in the kitchen, grab one when I go to bed in case I wake up.

Yesterday I found a silicone ring on the office floor. It looked like a Lemo tank ring but I eventually figured out it was from the battery door of a Solo. I checked and there were two Solos missing their rings. I remember when I got my last batch of Solos the battery doors felt different. They were looser and grated a bit. I figured it was a change in the way they cut the threads but it seems like that's just how they are without the ring. I should check the other new ones that didn't go in rotation. I got them around the time GV were starting to get a bad reputation. Apart from the battery doors one of them didn't work in TC mode.

The one Solo I have in rotation started tossing random "errors", mostly all asking if it was a new coil. Pulled the battery cap o-ring, no more problems. I don't really need the waterproof feature, so OK with that. Don't do TC, so I don't know if that part works or not ;)

    Indeed !
It's supposed to get back to 80 this afternoon and then cool down again this evening
It got hot here this month after the AC's got put away. That was fine because of the cool night's. It was cool for sleeping with just an open window. I had to shut that window this morning.
