My 98 S10 hasn't had A/C for 12 years. It worked for a few months after I got it then it died. A buddy came round with a tank a few years ago and filled it up, it worked for about an hour. Had some suspension work done earlier this year and I asked them about it. They said with its age and being bad for so long it would probably need complete replacement. Lot of money. You get used to it.
I loved my old '91 s10, I gifted it to a co-worker when I got a 2015. I just need a low side service port fitting to fix this old impala. I got a nifty tool to change the schrader valve while under pressure, and it worked well. Unfortunately the fitting must be bad and doesn't seal totally. I used to enjoy working on cars, but not really now. Knuckles skin too easy when you get old.LOL

Round here, an a/c is a necessity, not an optional add on. When it's 110 degrees outside, it's probably at least 140 degrees inside a car. When I was growing up, my mom drove a car with black vinyl seats. You couldn't sit down without getting burned until the a/c had been running for awhile.

Yeah, I guess Texas is different.

I never had A/C in a car or a house until I moved to the US. There was one legendary heat wave in the early 70's in the UK where it didn't rain for 6 weeks. And just as it started there was a 3 month strike of draft beer suppliers. They called it The Long Hot Summer. Unrest on the streets, people were jumping out of their cars and throwing punches.

Near the end of it there was a famous newspaper headline. The whole front page was filled with a message in huge black letters. 73 AGAIN TOMORROW - NO RELIEF IN SIGHT.

Talking of the UK. Recently there's been a flood of absurd anti-vaping stories going around, probably organised by Big Tobacco. Saw one this morning. A 12 year old girl was in the hospital with pneumonia, one of her lungs had shut down and she was ventilated for several days. The headline was - Vaping Almost Killed My Daughter.

Turned out she had severe asthma. Her mother kept her home from school treating her breathing problems with asthma inhalers until she almost died. One of the docs treating her apparently said that vaping had made her lungs weak so she wasn't able to fight off the infection. Mother said if I had known how dangerous vaping was I would have stopped her doing it.

Just so much wrong with that story.

I mixed up 30ml of the blue raspberry recipe I used to use and it seems to be falling flat with a hint of blue raspberry. I'm coming from a commercial juice that was veery sweet, even after diluting it from 20mg to 12mg w/ VG. It'll take some getting used to, might have to revisit using a little sweetener to fill out the flavour. I only have some TPA sweetener though.

Do any of you use sweetener and if so what kind? I want to find a balance that won't destroy coils. I used to use a dual coil RBA before my mod broke and got sucked into disposables. I've now had the Vaporesso luxe xr max for a week but obviously this thing won't pump out the amount of vapour and flavour as a good rebuildable. I think my mind is playing tricks on me hah.

    Code:
    Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA)-0.75%
    Dragonfruit (TPA)------------------------0.50%
    Jelly Candy (CAP)------------------------2.00%
    Peach (Juicy) (TPA)----------------------2.00%
    Raspberry, Sweet (TPA)-------------------6.00%

It's really screaming to be great but needs some work for sure. It's an old recipe and I'm sure there's flavours that would do better here.

I use Purilum Super Sweet. Some folks say it vapes they cleanest. I just know I like it. I usually use it at .25 although average in recipes is usually .5 I find it plenty sweet at .25 and my coils last a long time.

And I bet you could find a good rebuildable tank on Sourcemore.com for reasonable

Can't believe I actually had some good luck. There were a couple tanks in with my bottles and one is a Vaporesso GTX Tank 22.  WooHoo.
Do you have the RBA for it?

Thanks! I might have to give it a shot next time I place an order.

I still have my dripper, just need a mod/batteries/coil supplies. I wanted something easy and no fuss just to get off the super expensive disposables. Wouldn't mind trying out the GTX rba for this thing as well but for now the replaceable coils are doing the job :) and I actually really like this pod system but it's already got me wanting more lmao! Haven't tried out the .2 ohm coil yet (using .6 @ 24W) but I think the .2 might tickle my fancy.

Also the juice is slowly growing on me. not bad just needs to be refined. There's a bit of a perfume note to it and I'm not 100% which flavour is doing it. I'm also now using 9mg/ml and will probably drop down to 6mg/ml once I finish this 30ml. My goal is to get back down to 3mg/ml but I'd be happy sitting at 6mg for a while

    Sorry, I never use sweetener.

I’ve been at .6 for a long time.

I’d get rid of the EM. It can mute flavors. If I use sweetener then I tend to use Cap super sweet but most times don’t use any.
