Me too. I’m getting hungry for dinner. I might have to go get something. The wife was just getting ready to make a pie when it went out.

In the town where I used to live, we would lose power so often my daughter and I had a name for it. We called it squirrels in the grid. After a storm it was possible to lose power for days, the longest being 4 days. During hurricane Harvey, we lost power for 3 days. I'm much luckier now, as we rarely lose power, and never longer than a few hours. During the big freeze of 2021, I never lost power, at all.

Where did you live that lost power so much?

I made room for the stereo and got it out of the closet it was in. It was very inconvenient to get to so it didn't get used. I repaired the speakers and the turntable belt still seems fine, pretty good after 49 years. lol

Small town between San Antonio and Corpus Christi called Beeville. It's not too far from and is a whole lot like Uvalde.

I'm starting to mix up quite a tasty little storm!! I even have two recipes that are ready today after a month's steep. My first Cheesecake it's a Blueberry one! And Lemon Meringue Pie. Yummy, Yummy
