They issued a shelter in place up in Maine recently. But the cause was 18 deaths, and they couldn’t find the guy,
They took three buckets of them. There’s still more on the tree. The birds eat them in the winter.
So they will feed the deer and the birds.

Can you do peppermint?
I was thinking of trying something like an Oreo with eggnog peppermint cream filling. (Oreho-ho-ho)
It's just in the thought stage right now.
I can vape peppermint in a carto tank because it doesn’t taste too sweet there. But I do put just a tad in a couple recipes. Haven’t tried them yet though. Eggnog has spices and I can’t vape them. I do love eggnog to drink.
I hope those who sent the shelter-in-place directive are courteous enough to issue an all-clear notice when whatever is going on is resolved.
They would've found him a lot sooner if the dummies had checked the trailers across from his former place of work after they searched it. I bet he killed himself the same night he carried out the shootings. If the cops had exercised some common sense, they could've saved a lot of people a lot of stress.
Work today was terrible. One truck with all the packages was an hour late and the other was so late that we didn't even bother with it. The van I was going to use had a flat and all the other vans were taken, so I got stuck with a crappy LLV truck. I forgot how much those things slow me down. At least next week, things move back to the local post office and I get to use Belle. And the Cowboys won. And in other football news, despite annihilating Mississippi State last night 51-10, the Aggies fired head coach Jimbo Fisher. I wish I got paid 75 million to get fired from a job.
Mom is doing much better, but still in the local hospital swing bed, getting stronger. They gave her a bunch of Lasix and took 17 lbs of fluid off her. She now can breathe a lot better and she starts physical therapy tomorrow.
I hit google again and found out that the situation was resolved peacefully.
It happened about five minutes or so from where we are.
The shelter in place order was just a precaution due to a large police presence in the housing development where the incident happened.
The alert was only meant to be sent out for that immediate area but somebody goofed and sent it out for the whole township.
