I've never had any particular interest in trying any of the alcohol related flavors, but I have seen a few posts here about rum. And I just had a random thought for a mix name that popped into my head which would need rum for reasons that shall become clear in a moment. I don't have any experience at developing recipes myself nor do I have any rum flavors to mix with, but I'd be curious to see what any of you might come up with.
The name I thought of is
Arrr MateY4
(or maybe just Arrr Y4? Or Arrr WhyFor?
)
So obviously rum for the pirate reference, I would assume caramel and vanilla since it is a play on RY4. Not sure if the rum would replace the tobacco or if it would be an addition. Those are my thoughts on it, but if anyone wants to try to come up with something for this name, feel free to run with it in any direction that seems appropriate to you so long as it still has both rum and some RY4 connection.

Just got back from the BMV getting my license renewed. Started out bad since the office I've been going to for 20 years had closed down. Got to the new location, picked up a ticket and headed for the waiting area. It was almost empty and my number was called before I even got sat down. I was worried about the vision test. Destroyed my fancy variable focus glasses last week. I picked up 4 different cheapo pairs from CVS and chose the ones that felt best in the truck. Worked like a dream. Now I'm good until I'm 79.
This evening I'm planning to finalise my flavor list for BCF. Several blackberries and some pies, plus a few refills. And whatever else catches my attention.

I took a little liberty with your recipe name,
This is a very rough first draft.
One could go with their favorite caramel in place of the Holy RY4 One Shot which would most likely lower the total %.
I held off on adding extra vanilla for now as both RY4s have some degree of it in them.
The coconut sort of just fell into place as this draft developed.
The Captain might bring in a little cocoa/chocolate note as well.

I've had a busy day. I got my mom home from the hospital and settled into her home. I then went and helped prepare turkey for the church's Thanksgiving picnic on Sunday. I wouldn't care if I saw anymore turkey for the rest of the year. I then drove to town to pick up my mom's prescriptions and took them to her. I'm finally back in my own place and will get to sleep in my own bed tonight...without a fat dog hogging the whole bed.
