Good morning random folks and happy Thanksgiving. I drove to dd's house yesterday and it was bumper to bumper the whole way on the interstate. Once I got off it, I made better time. Dd and I will cook dinner later today and then watch the Cowboys game. Since it's just the 2 of us, we only got a turkey breast. She's going to make a green bean casserole from scratch, without using canned soup.

It's more of a lunch meal here. Dd had planned to have evrything ready by 11 but her turkey wasen't done. But the turkey Heather's hubby fried was ready. We did get to sit down and eat by 11.30 which wasen't bad. After everyone was done eating the pies came out. Dd bought a pumpkin pie, Heather made a chocolate pie and her younger sister brought 2 ice cream pies. I thought they would do the tree then but they wanted to play a game. Soooo I made my exit.

The ham came with a packet of glaze but I’m trying my hand at making a glaze from scratch. If it doesn’t taste good after it cools then I’ll use the packet instead. I’ve never made a glaze before.
