I'm wondering how hard it is to grow petunias from seed. They are pricey when it comes time to buy them for the window boxes.

Looking over those two links, it looks like a fun project Borno.

I hope you slept well.

Thanks. I did.

I fell asleep on the couch while watching the Earth from the ISS cameras via NASA's HD live stream. It's really cool watching Earth from space, and so very relaxing. One doesn't see any borders, only a Wholeness and Oneness, which I believe to be the Intent. We truly have a beautiful planet and so full of life. And seeing the Northern and Southern Lights from space, oooooh my, truly magical.

I still believe humanity can wake-up to realize our true interconnectedness and interdependence with All that Is. I mean, when one truly thinks about it, we have so much more in common with each other than not. Pie in the sky dreaming on my part? I think not.

I'm so happy and thankful to have been born when I was............

I'm also working on putting together a tropical recipe today.

LOLz, it's based on a shampoo I use, Maui Hibiscus Water. It has hibiscus, passion fruit and watermelon. The fragrance is heavenly.

I bought FLV Hibiscus Sweet specifically for my idea. I have plenty of passion fruit and watermelon flavors to choose from.

It will be a delicate mix, the fruit and hibiscus pretty much dictate that. Still deciding if I want to go with yogurt, a light bakery or white tea as a base.

Every now and then we buy some organic Ruby Hibiscus Water. Flavor-wise hibiscus has an almost cranberry-like taste. Very refreshing.

Sounds like a good one for the White Tea.

Thanks for the links. I think I'm going to try growing some for the window boxes and some tomatoes while I'm at it. : )

    Yes, I agree. :)

There are several different teas with hibiscus along with another fruit or two.

Was just looking at some smoothie websites and saw several recipes that have hibiscus with another fruit or two.

    A few that grabbed my attention were a mango/hibiscus, a coconut/hibiscus/mango, hibiscus/berry (w/raspberry + strawberry) and an orange/hibiscus smoothie.

Thinking those might make rather tasty DIY mixes. Also saw smoothie variations using white tea with fruit. Something different.

I wish you much luck. I have a couple cherry tomato plants growing in an aerogarden. They are only a little over an inch high but they look good so far.

Good luck with your mixes. :) No coconut for me but the others sound good.
