Back from shopping with almost all put away. I only needed a pot and a small bag of Miracle grow at WalMart. My tomato plant was too high for my aerogarden
I can relate, all the recipes I've been making for YEARS, with the same ingredients, since Covid, have all changed by percentages within the packaging. It's beyond irritating.I got back from the store and I see they are talking about "shrinkflation" like it's something new. Now you get 4oz of tuna in a 5oz can. I'm pretty sure they were 7 1/2 oz way back when. I know when I make an old recipe like my chili I have to buy extra because the cans for everyting have been shrinking for a long time. Just had to vent. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.![]()
I planted that tree about 20 years ago. It was two feet tall.Good morning, hitt.So sorry you lost your tree.
I’ve noticed it also. Most recently was that the packages of saltines are under filled. The box is the same size though.I got back from the store and I see they are talking about "shrinkflation" like it's something new. Now you get 4oz of tuna in a 5oz can. The oldest known bonsai is the Ficus Retusa Linn, found in the Crespi Bonsai Museum in Italy. It is estimated to be over 1000 years old.

The tree was previously taken care of by Chinese bonsai masters. During its first years in Italy, it was shaped by Shotaro Kawahara, one of the most famous Japanese bonsai masters.
makes me wonder how @Fredman1 and his bonsais are doing![]()
It is gone. My daughter’s boyfriend brought his chainsaw and made quick work of it. We loaded it all up in his truck and he’s going to burn it at his place.Did it get cut down yet?
That's good. You don't have to deal with it.It is gone. My daughter’s boyfriend brought his chainsaw and made quick work of it. We loaded it all up in his truck and he’s going to burn it at his place.
It’s just weird to look out and not see that tree in the back corner of the yard. That's good. You don't have to deal with it.
