Good evening. I got home from work and went straight outside to mow. The outlaws are coming tomorrow for Easter gathering. We had to do it early since our daughter has to work Sunday. We did get into the mid 70’s today and I was able to mow for the first time in shorts. I’m going to try to get a review posted tonight.

Busy day today. Got a new microwave installed. First time I haven't done that myself but the older I get the heavier those things are.

We had a leak in the bathroom a couple of weeks ago. Lots of stuff swelling and moving around and cracks in the grout on the floor. A row of 6 tiles in the shower cracked in a line, I guess where the sheets of backer board meet up. Lots of moldy caulk. Today the remediation guy came round to do an assessment. He said it's unlikely insurance will help based on his experience. He said the proper fix would be to remove the floor and shower tiles and replace the boards underneath. That wouldn't be cheap.

The cheap option is to replace the caulk and some of the grout, and replace the cracked tiles, assuming I have enough spare tiles down in the basement. That might leave problems to come back and bite me later. On the other hand I live by the river and under the bathroom is a basement with a mud floor, so it's always wet down there anyway.

    I need a vacation.

I've had 2 BB's going for a while, both with raspberry juice so I could compare two different decks. Last night I refilled one of them with an old retired flavor. I decided to keep up with that and use the BB to cycle through my old flavors for a bit of variety.

I was slightly off all day. I fell asleep after 2am and hubby was nice enough to let me sleep in until after 8, but - I normally do a Friday report from home between 7-8am, hit the shower and get ready to go to Zumba, with enough time to set things up in my office. I was rushing like crazy, didn't do the report, and just made it to Zumba. I was off-footed so many times - if I lost focus for a second, I was in trouble. A couple of people in the class noticed I was messing up more than usual (!). The good news is that in the class that doesn't really matter, and we all laugh about it, and it was nice that people were concerned about me being off. The bad news is that the day continued in a similar vein, UGH. Glad to be home!

I'm still hoping to take a walk tomorrow. It might be a bit breezy, but I can dress for that. I need the mental R&R.

Oh, thinking of the weather, it was interesting when I went to work. The car had bits of ice/sleet on it, then there were flakes of snow as I started to leave the driveway, and all the while it was raining. The car temp said 37. There must have been some very cold air aloft for it to hit the trifecta like that.

It says it's only 68 right now, but in my house it feels a lot hotter. I'm trying to avoid turning on the AC. I got the ceiling fan on and am going to get out another fan. We got up to 76 today, and this weekend it's gonna hit 80.
