We went to a new Salvador Dali exhibition today. They had 4 actual works of his, small pics that he produced for the background of an opera. Plus lots of photos of his stuff and fun info about his life. That's the way exhibitions seem to work these days. They did have an amazing lightshow featuring images from his paintings though.

Exciting weather here today. The forecast for the eclipse next week is sunny and clear at the moment. I live in the middle of the total eclipse band so it should be fun. Also happens to be the same day as my 20th wedding anniversary.

I live right on the edge of a band, so I might get totality, but should get at least most of the effect. Forecast is partly cloudy, so that might be an issue, but the guessers are never right that far out.

There was a high profile vote today for extending a tax that would help pay for a downtown baseball stadium and renovating the football stadium. So far it looks like it didn’t pass. No one I know wanted a downtown stadium. They were going to build it with no additional parking which is insane. Especially when there are daytime games.

Um, clearly not still sleeping, although a nap later is possible.

Wife needs to go to town later, but I think she's solo, I need a day without being in a car!

Hope it did fail. So many times the civic "leaders" get in cahoots with a team owner to build a stadium that the tax payer funds and still gets stuck with ticket prices out of reach...
