Good morning mixers,

I will mix a bit today, try to go from 9% to 6% on Stikk Perique, and from 7% to 5% on Cornell&Diehl.
There are two I completely lost interest in, thought I'd try them weaker and see if there are other notes that come out.

At the same time, when I go to the cellar, with a bit of luck, some flavors that I have lost/muddled away may pop up.

Good morning Tor R. :) I hope your mixes turn out good.

That's nice he has good neighbors:thumbs:
Yet another neighbor will help...he'll take all the smaller pieces of wood and twigs and take them to his house. Two really big trees falling is a lot of work lol. Having good neighbors means a lot to us.

Good morning random folks. I already got my mile and a half done for the day. I've been having a lot of foot pain lately. Early this morning it hurt really bad and I took some ibuprofen and Tylenol. It hurt when I first started walking but eased up after a bit. It only hurts a tiny bit now. I might have to quit walking all together until it heals. I don't want to have to wear the boot again and I really don't want surgery again. Enough about my foot. It's going to be a warm day with the high of 91⁰. I can't believe that it's nearly October and we have temperatures like this. Well, that's to be expected in Texas.

    Morning, mixers.

None of that hot stuff here :) Temps still running a bit below average, but the guessed rain (IF it happens!) will be well north of us. Had to give the rhodies a drink yesterday.

Good morning David.:) I'll be wishing you some rain.

We are warmer than we should be this time of year but nothing hot. 74 for today.

It's like that round here as well. A few years ago two big trees fell from the woods across the road and landed one on each side of my driveway so I was trapped. A bunch of locals were out all day around the neighborhood cutting fallen trees off the roads. I was hauling cut logs to the woods in my truck. There was one guy on the road outside my house about 10ft up standing on a big branch with a chainsaw. He grabbed a small branch over his head and leaned over at a scary angle cutting another huge branch holding the chainsaw in one hand. I said hey be careful man. He said don't worry, I'm a fireman. OK.

The rain has stopped and my deck guy is back.

    Good afternoon Fran.

I just got back from a funeral of a guy I didn't even know. I served as Eucharistic Minister and afterwards I went to the funeral lunch. As I wasn't family or friends, I stayed in the kitchen and ate with the ladies preparing the meal and helped clean up afterwards. These lunches are put on by my ladies' group, so they are friends of mine.
