And I vote for adding something creamy to it, too. Who eats crumble without cream or custard or ice cream, after all?
I agree. Something creamy. Whipped cream, cream or custard.
The dinner lady has a bit of what I would call a gritty feel to it and that’s what I feel is missing. My blackberry profile isn’t an exact copy but I like it.
Thank you. I’m not finished with it. I feel like the crumble is missing. I’ve tried crumble topping and graham cracker but both changed the profile. I have been thinking about adding a little Flv cream.
We ended up with 4" of snow today.
I got a letter. It started off, do you have trouble reading the bible, maybe because it's boring or not relevant to your life, briefly glanced at the rest of the long page then handed it to my wife. Right away she noticed in the very last sentence it said call this number and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses will come round to help you with your problem in 3 days or less. Maybe they've hired a marketing consultant. Better to get a letter than a knock on the door I guess.
Now I have my bottles lined up. Three more lemon attempts. A shot at blackberry including some SFTs. I've been following Hitt's progress and taking notes for that one. Going to put a few drops of Super Sweet in the 15ml drippers of some regulars to see what difference it makes, for good or bad. There's a few more on the list if I have the energy.

I never did a SFT it yet but maybe some SSA Shortbread Cookie?
A few notes by other folks mention "grainy" or "crumbly".

Another idea came to mind (that is probably off the mark) - OOO Powdered Sugar?
I doubt that DL would be using OOO, but...
I’ve used that one before but I’m not sure that’s going to help. I’ve just about given up on cloning the DL but am more focused now on something I’ll be happy with if I can’t get the concentrate. I could just buy some commercial liquid but I’m hard headed. I haven’t bought commercial liquid in several years.
I just wrote up this idea (using your blackberries) and will mix up a little tester tomorrow,
Trying a different take on the bakery part.

I wish I had a better sense of taste. I envy people that can try a liquid and pick out the flavors. I haven’t really focused much on the bakery part yet so I like your idea. I have a blackberry cupcake recipe that I want to mix this weekend.
