Good evening. Work was pretty tough today. I had a repair this morning that took 3.5 hours to put in a reactor coil. I don’t care if I never do that again.

I called the data recovery place today and the office here closed but I talked to someone at the main office in Dallas and they sent me a free shipping label so I put it in the mail today. I talked to the wife tonight and ordered a new desktop computer and monitor from the Dell store on amazon. They had a nice unit on a Black Friday deal with i7 processor, 16gb ram, 1TB ssd, and built in card reader. I had to get a new monitor since we’ve used the same one on the last two computers and it has the old style connector. It ended up being a little more than I wanted to spend right before Xmas but didn’t want to go cheap and regret it later.

That's the same Dell I got, I7, 16gb, 1TB. Out of curiosity, what's the card reader for?

The card reader is for sd cards. I don’t use them at home as much as work but it’s a nice added feature to have just in case. Originally I was looking at a cheaper model on their regular website but decided to look at the Dell Amazon store. I found the much nicer model with windows 11 pro for just a couple hundred more. Long term I think it’s worth the money. I like the idea of having an ssd drive after our failure. I also ordered a 2tb drive that will be our new backup which I will make a point to check periodically.

Howdy random folks. I've been busy this morning. Last night, I went to fill up my truck with gas and found out the gas fill pipe was missing!!! I didn't know how that had happened. Did someone rip it out trying to steal gas? I called the body shop where I had the work done on it, just in case, although I didn't think it was them as the gas cap is on the opposite side they had worked on. However it turns out they did loosen the gas tank to slide the bed out. I took the truck to them (worried that i would run out of gas on the way), and the pipe was still attached but they had forgotten to fasten it back in place. They quickly fixed it, plus put on a decal that they had had to order. I already had an appointment with the dealership to replace a faulty tire pressure sensor, and I had thought I would have to have the pipe repaired there. I'm glad I thought to call the body shop first. I didn't run out of gas either. I had a dental appointment so I had the dealership drop me off at the dentist and after that appointment, I walked home, 0.7 miles. I hadn't been home 10 minutes when the dealership called, stating my truck was ready. So now I've got my truck back, with a full tank of gas and no annoying sensor warnings. Furthermore, that repair didn't cost me anything, as the extended warranty paid to have all 4 sensors replaced even though only one was bad.

Hello, everyone, I hope that all is well with you and yours :)

I just got done trying my tester for this mix and like it,

    Salamander Tears

    2.00% Dragonfruit (TPA)
    1.00% Honeydew Melon (Flavor Jungle)
    1.00% Jelly Candy (CAP)
    0.50% Lemon Lime (CAP)
    1.50% Pear (FA)
    1.00% Shisha Vanilla (INAWERA)
    3.00% Strawberry Sweet (Flavor Jungle)
    0.50% Super Sweet (CAP)

It is primarily honeydew/strawberry/vanilla - the rest are mainly enhancers for one thing or another.
Dragonfruit is a bit higher than I would typically try it at as an enhancer but I can't say that I taste it specifically so won't consider it as a notable flavor for now.

I have a few adjustments in mind to try but could leave it as is and not be unhappy.

It is fairly sweet so the Super Sweet could be reduced if anyone who might try it doesn't enjoy sweet mixes.

Wishing you all safe travels
