Morning, mixers.

The guess is warm and dry at least until Thursday, likely into the low 70s by then. Then cooler and wet. Good cycle to be in :)

Some minor town stuff today, but even that, being distant, will take up most of it.

Good afternoon random folks. There's been some progress on the home front. I now have a utility pole and the contractor came and is, hopefully, going to finish the water and electricity. The septic system is in the permit obtaining stage. I fear the rain in the forecast might slow down the actual installation. Moving day is set up for May 3. I hope all is ready by then. I started moving some boxes in already.

Sounds like good progress. Will need another pic soon.

Got the first mow of the year done. It's always the hardest. Took an hour before I started to pick up all the fallen wood from the winter storms and drag it over the road to the woods. My lawn looks pretty bad early spring. There are parts that get sun all day and parts that are mostly shaded by trees. It's a patchwork of several different types of grass, different colors and different lengths. After the first mowing it evens out and looks a lot better.

We have a one acre lot with a small house in the middle. Lots of trees and flower beds edged with rocks so it's a pain to mow. Plus sunken areas that I'm afraid to run the rider over. Can't go in a straight line for very far.

I dug up dirt from the back corner and filled more low patches. Now the ground is thawed out and soft the moles are going into overdrive.
