Morning, mixers.

Done with summer for now, back down to the low 60s and the rain on Sunday will now start tonight. Oh, well, 2 days of summer was fun

I have my usual dozen RTAs in use and another 14 ready to fill. As the in use ones gunk up, I just grab a fresh one off the rack, and wait until I have two or three to clean and rewick, putting them on the rack. I might have one a month that needs a new coil. I anneal (still kanthal a1) and wind maybe a half dozen when needed, so usually just need to grab one and install it.

I DO like not being tied to anything that might go out of production

I use the iTanks mostly for going back and forth to work. I found over time that some rtas tend to leak some when laid on their side and I put my 3-4 setups I carry back and forth in a drawer laying down at work. The iTanks never leak. However lately I’ve added a couple for at home use which is unnecessary.

The wife informed me that we need to go to Sam’s for some necessities. I’m sure we’ll end up with stuff not on the list as usual. That’s why I like to order stuff there online. It saves on impulse buying.

A trip to Sam’s turned into a trip to the nursery for flowers, dinner at a restaurant, Sam’s, and then grocery store. Not bad though. At least I got a good meal out of it.
