    Somewhere between here and there
I just spent about 3 hours outside trimming our crabapple tree. I grew like crazy and needed to be tamed. That and my neighbor has a birch tree in the backyard that was growing into ours so I cut those off too. He hasn’t touched that tree since he moved in 6+ years ago. We get along so I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me taking those branches off.

Good evening random folks. I had a good day at work today and got off in time to go to the church's happy hour. They talked about the ongoing fundraising campaign which was supposed to end this fall, after 3 years. They are thinking bigger goals, ie instead of just a new field house for the school, but including a new gym and robotics lab as well. It's easy to think that they are dreaming too big, but the towns original settlers dreamed big when they built the red brick schoolhouse 100 years ago that is still in use. Anyway they had snacks and grownup drinks. After awaking at 4am this morning then having 2 cups of wine, I'm very sleepy. Good night.

Here's a picture of the 100 year old school.

    Morning, mixers.

We did have some nice sun breaks yesterday, more rain overnight and still dripping. Said to break up this afternoon, and that's the pattern until late in the week. Getting closer to average, so that's a good thing!

I grew like crazy and needed to be tamed.

So now you're a tall wild man? ;)

(Not that I ever maek a typo!)

Good evening. It was storming like a tsunami on the way home. It took forever. Visibility was terrible. We’re getting a break but it’s supposed to start up again later.
Good evening, hitt.:) Glad you made it home safe.

Right now is the calm before the storm. It was windy all day and now it's calmer, but the sky is gray and there is some thunder. We're under both a tornado watch and a thunderstorm warning. The storm should hit very soon.
Hopefully just a thunderstorm. Stay safe.

The storm is over. It wasn't as bad as Saturday night. The electricity just flickered off for a second. I did go to mom's before the storm started because my truck is in the shop and I wouldn't have had a way to get there if it had gotten bad. Again, there was a beautiful rainbow afterwards.
