Good afternoon random folks. I got a bit of a lull before I have to start cooking. I did manage to get the last set of curtains up. They were a bit of a bugger to put up but the end result looks good. I pretty much am now finished on the inside of the house. There's been a delay in getting the skirting installed, but I'm hoping it gets done by next week.

Is that the "stretch and fold" method?
You mix it up and let it rise at room temperature for eighteen hours and then fold the four edges to the center and let it rise for another two hours at room temperature. Alternatively, you can toss it in the fridge after the first rise and let it cold ferment for three days, fold it up, and then leave it at room temperature for a few hours. Cold fermenting improves the flavor, but I'm a lazybones, so I don't bother with it anymore.

Is the weather cooperating? I hope so.

Good afternoon, Terri.:) We'll need some inside pics when you're done.

The weather is cooperating so far, and I got the sun tea made. I got a text that fewer people than originally scheduled are coming, so I will fit everyone inside, so I won't have to worry about the occasional rain shower. I've got all the food prepared and ready for the oven at around 5:15. The folks should be here at 6.

Good morning, hitt.:) Hope you feel better.
I do feel quite a bit better but think I need one or two more visits. I’m having a lot less leg pain today after yesterday’s visit.

I found an old bottle of base hidden behind some junk on a shelf. Could have been there for years. Poured a bit in a measuring cylinder and it was medium brown coloured. The new base I just made is clear as a bell. It was made from 2015 nic. Nic really does stay good in the freezer.
