Most people are MAGA in the USA. Face it. You lost!

Ones political views are irrelevant and inappropriate for this forum. People on this thread do know about my religion and views as I don't hide them, but don't push them in their face either. There are people on this thread whose views I don't agree with and don't agree with mine, but we still get along without ridiculing or mocking one another, then questioning their beliefs when they don't agree with themselves. Stick to vaping and mixing in this thread, and you won't go wrong.

Dang, all I wanted was a good chocolate recipe.

I have been trying for years to create a decent chocolate mix. Most fall short of what I'm after.

IMHO the best tasting chocolate, and perhaps the most accurate, is MF Dark Chocolate.

It is very highly concentrated. 0.5% - 0.7% to start.

If mixed with a cream or two the dark chocolate note lessens into a very nice chocolate but not a milk chocolate.

I also mixed it with one of the ice cream bases I posted.

One of Fran's ice cream bases will work too.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good evening. I just got caught up on the thread. I have to say I was kinda cringing at the drama.

Definitely glad it’s the weekend. My wife’s bday is tomorrow and the outlaws are coming over so I have to go to Sams tonight to pick up stuff while the wife has Bunco at our house.

**sigh** Enough is enough. Not sure I can clean this mess up as many of you contributed to it instead just leaving it alone and putting the offender on ignore.
If there is ANY way I can help, since I am guilty of not putting him on ignore, PLEASE let me know. He got the best of me and I couldn't let all of his horrid posts just sit there. It's natural to feel defensive when you are being attacked, when entire people are being attacked. Not an excuse, but I am certainly willing to do whatever to make it easier on the staff.

Your post is not irrelevant, but serves as a wonderful reminder of how we DO respect our differences and can remain friendly and civil, because we are good people, at heart, even when we don't always agree.

I recently did a sft on TFA double chocolate and it had a bit of actual chocolate flavor. Give that a try.
    What % did you use?

    My latest tries.
    chocolate float-fresh cream .5%,chocolate mousse 2%,dark chocolate 1%,ice cream 2%, vanilla swirl 1%(tiramusa .1%)

    chocolate candy cane-cocoa milk 2%,candy cane 1%,choc.custard 2%,dark choc .4%,choc white 1%,marshmallow 1%,rum 1%,whipped crm 1%,swt .5%

    chocolate rum-cocoa milk 2%,choc custard 2%,dark choc.5%,choc white 1%,marshmallow 1%,rum 1.5%,whip crm 1%,swt .5%

None of these were bad, looking for perfection, may not happen.

Very honestly, chocolate flavors are very challenging to work with if looking for something like the chocolate flavors we experience and know in real life. Like chocolate candies, milk or ice cream, or even chocolate cakes or donuts.

Of those, chocolate ice creams are easy. Bakery (cakes/donuts) are doable but challenging to get the right balance.

Getting near a milk chocolate has been my nemesis for years. I haven't stopped trying. Most are anything but milk chocolate.

In real life I prefer dark chocolates over milk chocolates. For me milk choc. is just too sweet.

That's why I really like MF Dark Chocolate and VT Dark Chocolate. The MF is my favorite. VT is a really good dark chocolate though.

I found all the other available chocolate flavors to be not very good or accurate. A few of those are passable depending on the other flavors used in a mix and percents.

There is a knack to making a good convincing chocolate mix. Virgin Vapors used to sell an excellent chocolate vape (Death By Chocolate). It was, by far, the most accurate chocolate vape I ever tried. Tried cloning it, no luck.

LOL, I even tried getting the recipe from Annette (original owner of VV). No luck.
