    I went out earlier and worked on the landscaping in the backyard. Still moving dirt and trying to adjust the grading so the water runs off better. Not ready to start stacking the stones back yet.

    I wanted to go to a shoe store to look for some new work shoes and need to pick up something from the hardware store. The wife decided she wanted to go so once again I’m sitting around waiting for her to finish getting ready. How good do you really need to look to go to the hardware store?

    Me, ijust got back from the hardware store and I look a mess, shirt about 3 sizes too big and shorts that are too big and paint stained. I finally got the weedeater to work, but it is difficult to start. The fuel ratio is persnickety and it uses a ratio of 25:1 instead of the usual 40:1, thus the reason for my trip to the store, to get more engine oil. Once I got the engine to start, I then had problems in that the blade wouldn't turn. I figured out that a second screw had to be loosened for assembly. The lousy directions didn't say that either.

    You probably need it but I gave up on gas powered weed eaters a long time ago. I have a Scott’s cordless weed eater and two batteries. I’ve had it for several years and no fuel to mess with.

    I don't think an electric could handle all the Johnson grass and other weeds here. I'm not using the string attachment, but a metal blade. Using this thing takes more energy than I anticipated. I could only handle about 30 minutes before I had to rest. The humidity doesn't help.

    Formal wear?

    Or looking like you're a model walking the runway?

    :lol::lol:

    Me? Last time I went, my t-shirt had several holes and stains, my jeans were dirty and had holes and my shoes looked like I just finished mowing Lambeau Field with a push mower.

    IOW, the perfect attire for a hardware store. :thumbs:

    Or maybe one of these remote controlled trimmers, sit on your porch, in the shade, with your beverage of choice and have it zoom around! :greengrin:

    The video on their page is pretty cool. It chomps-up nearly everything.

    That’s what I figured.

    Funny thing is, I was taking a vape break in the garage waiting for her and she pops her head out and says can we go now.

    I used to have a gas powered edger where you could turn the blade sideways to cut brush.

    My brother has a tractor with a mowing attachment but the main issue is the crop of rocks i have on this place. They need to be thinned out before anything can go over the yard, but you can't see to pick up the rocks because of the weeds. I'll eventually spray some weed killer.

    Success! The treadmill that i appropriated from my mom had an annoying squeak. I had tried spraying wd40 on it without any luck. I then watched some YouTube videos on tightening the belt. I had to order a set of Allen wrenches, which arrived today. It took like 3 turns of the wrench on each side, but the squeak is gone.

    Glad you didn’t have to wait too long.
