We got two of the three cars unloaded today. We have more help coming tomorrow. We found out today that the apartment complex doesn’t provide internet so I signed our daughter up for Google fiber. That was an unexpected expense after she’s already paying more here for rent and utilities. I had her use my credit card and told her we’d pay for it to help her out.
Just got back from the apartment a little bit ago. There were a few little things that the wife and I wanted to do. The caulk around the tub wasn’t up to our standards so I cleaned out the old stuff and recaulked the whole tub area. I wanted to do the vanity too but ran out. I need to pick up another tube. I’m exhausted. Tomorrow we have to move the bed, kitchen table and some other stuff.
Good morning. I slept in a little bit. I feel pretty rough this morning. This is day three of moving. I’m glad my other daughter and some friends are coming to help today.

Day three of moving. We had four extra helpers today so I didn’t have to carry much. My youngest daughter and I assembled the new 60” living room cabinet that we bought the oldest. I was really aggravated that we were shorted 9 cam lock screws so had to order some on eBay.
We went ahead and finished assembling it but I’ll have to pull the top off to install the missing screws.
Mowed the lawn today. Hadn't done it for a while due to temps in the 90's and lots of rain so it was long. Today it was high 70's.
We got the septic system replaced last year when they installed city sewers. The city folks drained the septic and bashed it down with a backhoe. Then they filled on top with soil. It's been subsiding ever since. They provided support for the first six months and came round a couple of times to dump soil over it but after that we were on our own. Today there was a deep narrow crevasse around the edge of the area, I emptied a couple of wheelbarrows full of soil in the holes.
Today I dropped a Z80 on the gravel driveway. I hardly ever drop mods. But all that happened was a bit of paint chipped off. I've been using that Z80 daily for a long time. They seem to be pretty tough apart from the faux leather section losing its surface layer a bit.
