I went ahead and mowed tonight so I don’t have to this weekend. My back yard looks horrible after dethatching it last Sunday. I watered four times this week and my yard looks like a dry wasteland. We haven’t had rain in weeks. Hopefully the yard bounces back.

    Hope you get rain soon.

I have a sprinkler head behind the little garden we have and as much as I’ve been watering, it’s over watering the garden and that area. I bought a new to me style head for there that allows me to turn the water on and off on just that sprinkler. I installed and tested it tonight. For once something went as planned.

I’m still liking the golden eagle with the crunch berry substitute. It’s funny how not having this or that particular flavor for a recipe can work out very well in the end.

Good afternoon, gloop. :) Have a great long weekend
Thank you very much, Fran
No real plans here, probably mostly relaxing mixed in with the normal things to take care of.
I just finished freshening up an rta and am breaking in the cotton with some Faerie Clouds - then on to some testers.

Good afternoon, hitt.:) Hope the list isn't long
Any list is too long. She informed me that I needed to replace the top boards on the deck steps because they won’t hold stain. The boards are in perfect shape.

You got that right. Too bad you don't have some paint the color of the stain.

I know that one, think you got off easy though. End of last year I was "persuaded" to replace all the deck boards and steps because the color was getting uneven. I built the deck myself but this time I hired someone who had done the same job on a neighbor's deck. I'm getting a bit old for that kind of work. But now the boards are ready for their first staining and I still haven't got around to doing it.
