Good morning, Terri.:) You've been busy.

Yeah, the next 2 weeks are pretty full: mom's dental surgery, religious ed, the Thanksgiving picnic, work, taking Misty to the vet, Thanksgiving, Christkindle market. I'm selling rosaries again.

What are you up to Fran?
Right now I'm on Barnes and Nobles website to use a giftcard I got for my birthday. After that I'll read for awhile and then cook dinner.

Cool! :) Have fun shopping, reading and cooking.

We have a couple of Barnes & Noble stores around here. I always love trips to their stores. And usually never leave empty handed.

Also still have a handful of independent book stores around that I like to support.

In our world of online shopping, I am truly thankful for and enjoy the remaining local and family owned shops.

Hey @gloopdegurp how's life in Philly going for you?

    You behaving yourself?

Your 76ers and Eagles are doing pretty darn good. These days I'm enjoying basketball more than football.

Anyhow, I hope you are doing well buddy!

Speaking of football, this season is a strange one. <yep>

Teams that the "so-called" experts said would reign supreme aren't doing so great.

My Packers are up/down and all around. Oh well.

And like who could have predicted the Colts would be one of the best teams?

Thank you, SMT, I'm doing okay I guess.
Still dealing with some emotional moments and just getting used to Mom not being here.

Was outside for a bit, gave some nuts to the squirrels, some bread for the birds (I know that's not the best thing for them but I'd be throwing some of it away), and talked with one of my neighbors for a bit.

I don't follow the Sixers much at all and haven't really been into football for a few years. Hockey is my favorite, then baseball. Not expecting too much from the Flyers as they're still kind of in a rebuild but they aren't doing badly right now.

Hoping all is well with you all and wishing you the best outcome for your surgery when that happens

Losing a Mom, or any loved one, is difficult. Grief moves into our lives uninvited, and it lingers. I still go to occasional grief support meetings at the senior center here. For me, it helps. Ya know, listening to others stories and sharing. I just allow my emotional moments to flow. Do the best I can.

LOL, I do the same with the squirrels and birds. And you're right, otherwise we would be throwing stuff away. I love watching all the critters, it's very relaxing for me, soothing.

Hockey, LOL, I always have trouble following the puck!

Thanks, everything is well here. And I'm sure the surgery will work out however it's supposed to. I'm prepared for "whatever". LOL, I have to be!

Football is my favorite sport(ravens fan), but the officials are taking the fun out of the game.
Too many game telecasts are marred by ticky-tack or questionable calls. There’s no flow, no pace, because they’re constantly interrupted by thrown flags.
It’s a sad state of affairs when everyone from announcers to viewers are conditioned to hold their breath and wait for the flag after every big play. Will it take another “Fail Mary” embarrassment on national TV to spur changes?

LOL, I would not want to be a ref in any sport. It's a thankless job.

I enjoy watching international soccer games and women's soccer (US). The game flows. And the refs rarely call any fouls. Play stoppage is very rare. Basketball is similar.
