It doesn’t look like I’m getting out of going to my wife’s friends house. I did make it clear that I was tired already and didn’t want to stay late.

Good evening. Work was not great. I went in and installed a kit on this big 70k diesel welder we have sold and went out to run in the engine and it died 15 minutes into load testing. The fuel sending unit is bad right out of the factory. They are sending one next day but it looks like it’s going to be a real pain to replace.

We started to leave around 8 then it was oh, we have to do pictures, then oh take this or that. Their house is literally five minutes away and we just got home a few minutes ago. Next time I’m not going on a work night.

I had cataract surgery to right eye about 3 weeks ago. My cost after insurance was $900. I need to get my left eye done but I'm trying to wait until I'm Medicare eligible so that entire cost is covered. I will say that I was somewhat worried about vaping after the procedure. I slept the entire day of but that night I started vaping again, There does not seem to be any adverse effects from it. My follow up with the doc is first week of Jan where she will judge healing. I'm amazed at how much better I can see after just having one eye done.

It was a shock to my system not having to wear glasses except for reading and close work. I don't know how long it took me to stop reflexively pushing them up my nose and being surprised when they weren't there. Turns out fifty-year-old habits are hard to break.
