Just sat down to watch some football. Denver and buffalo. It’s 12 out right now and I have no desire to go out. However, my wife told our oldest daughter that we could go out for dinner if she wanted. She was undecided so we told her to let us know if she wants to go.

We often have a cup of hot chocolate in the afternoon. The recipe is based on unsweetened cocoa powder. The shop I normally get the powder from didn't have it last time I looked. My wife ordered some from Walmart and they gave a delivery date of three weeks away, it's four weeks now and still not showing up in tracking. Then she ordered some from another local place, they gave a quick delivery date but then cancelled the order. None of the shops in town have it in stock. She did some googling and discovered cocoa is in really short supply. It mainly comes from Africa and apparently there is a big problem on the growing end. Sudden climate changes last year, plus diseases hitting the cocoa plant. They have new varieties in the pipeline that can handle the climate and the diseases but it might be quite a while before the import pipeline opens back up.

It's not a lot of snow, but temps are supposed to drop hard and freeze things overnight.
I have to go out early tomorrow so have concerns about slick travel

Found this recipe online: 1 1/2 ounces of vodka, 1 1/2 ounces of whiskey, 2 ounces of orange juice, 2 ounces of sour mix, 1 ounce of pineapple.
I don't have vodka, may try rum.

Also found this recipe online:
1 ounce bourbon whiskey-1 ounce vodka-1 ounce peach schnapps-2 ounces orange juice-2 ounces sour mix

This may not be a good idea, but thanks for your help.
