I had a tough day and the last thing I needed was her standing over me telling me I’m doing something incorrectly. I’ve never heard of anyone getting in trouble for being over prepared.

Actually I think once you have the real id, you dont need to have the paperwork again, but it doesn't hurt to have it. Every state is different. I didn't have to do any paperwork, the real id just showed up on my license when I renewed 6 years ago and when I renewed last year, it was still there. I dont blame you for being preparec.

I never got a renewal notice and mine is expired so I’m not sure what they will ask for. I’m taking everything on the list plus some.

My brother wasn't able to come last night so I'm still stuck. He's coming this morning but the road that I live on is still pretty slick so it's not like I can go anywhere anyway. I placed an order for some traction boards so hopefully I can get myself out of future situations.

Good afternoon random folks. My brother got my truck unstuck and it promptly got stuck again. It just doesn't do well in the mud, which is what we have a lot of right now. I'm wondering if it would do better early in the morning when things are still frozen. It would probably slip and slide around, but not get stuck. There's only about a mile of unpaved road that I have to worry about, but that mile is keeping me prisoner. It's also keeping fedex from delivering my packages.

Our temperature has plummeted from mid 20’s to about 8 right now and getting colder overnight. I’m going to put some warmer clothes on and watch tv. Not sure yet what the weekend will bring.
