thanks for the tips, i did not read the ohms, I was getting hot legs though.

That is my setup. 400 mesh + K-A1 34 Awg. Works great, tons of vapor. Very important to put your wick over the air tube, otherwise you will get a burnt taste. Took me some time to figure it out. Wick preparation is the same as wick for "LINE" but little bit shorter. I do 5 wraps and get 2.5. No problems at all.

I have a few bottles of 50/50 from HHV (dragons fire, gandalf, huntsman) which I plan to start off with after I build the wick. Right now I'm using some 3mm wick with the 36g kanthal and it vapes nice but definately need to tinker with the mesh.
Looking forward to the HHV juices on the mesh.

So the air rushing over the wick probably helps accelerate the capillary effect of the wick. Ecellent pictures maxcuz. I feel fairly comfortable that I'll get this wick right the first time when my mesh gets here.
Which, BTW, I forgot to update my address in eBay and my mesh went to my old address, there is a forwarding notice at the office still as I am still getting yellow stickered mail. But the darn mesh would have been here on the 23rd if I hadn't of botched that all up. Dag! Still waiting. Myabe today?

I am using 100% VG Tennessee Cured from Jhonsoncreek.com In my opinion they have the best juice. Their 100% VG is thinner than everybody's else. Most important thing is vapor it produce doesn't have bad smell, actually it smells good. It is very important to me, because I vape at work in my office all day long 
When I used juice from any other source my employees complained to me about the smell. By the way if somebody knows any other companies that have the same juice properties, please let me know. Thanks.

There is a Canadian company with an Xtreme VG line (100% VG) that works as well as any PG based juice in cartos, tanks, etc. It's thinned down absolutely perfectly. Name of the vendor is Jugheads.co and he does ship to the US. Even though his website looks like a 5 year old did it , he has really fantastic juice and customer service.
On the topic of RATank, I ordered my wick yesterday from the Mesh Company in the UK and it shipped today, so I should have it in hand in about a week I'd say! I can't wait. Need to go to the Dollar Store and get a lil torch lighter, since this will be my first ss mesh wick attempt. CANNOT WAIT!!

Sorry, off topic but I've got some of their Domestic tucked away. I liked it but not quite enough of a throat hit for me at 1.8%. Didn't want to go up to 2.4 nic though. Thats the only one I've tried from them so may have to revisit them.

I think I am heading in the right direction, you get what you pay for.
i have one on the way, and also ordered some ss mesh too, might as well get the best outta it i can, lord knows when i'll receive the ra though as im in nova scotia canada and canada post is really slow
. Ok guys. Tried different setups, this one works THE BEST. 400 mesh 25mm X 36mm + K-A1 34 Awg - 5 wraps. One of the holes must be closed. Wick MUST, MUST, MUST be over Air tube. Enjoy.
Okay I can vouch for the mesh now, for the first time since I have owned the ra tank I'm happy now. It's a totally different atty, it's wicking and hitting wonderfully the taste is clean. It is a 100% better with the mesh than silica for me. No dry hits either. I'm using a close setup as the pics above, but I am on the v2 so it's more angled but over the airhole. Well worth the money now. Thanks for all the people that posted the mesh it made all the difference for me!

Just ordered an RA V3 this morning. Cant wait for it to arrive. This will be my first rebuildable atty. Will be going over all the videos on coil and wick making while im waiting and hope the learning curve wont be to steep.
K..... i drilled a new wick hole so my mesh u-wich goes right between posts...the third hole that i nolonger use i drilled larger to accomodate a juice bottle tip for quick filling, found a nice plug for the fillhole, i closed off the main airtube and drilled a 1/64th airhole in top cap, when i aim that hole at the wick i get insane amounts of vapor !!
But the draw is a bit too airy and flavor a bit muted....hmmmm need to find a small tube to lessen diameter of air hole, other tan that, its now an official genesis system and works great and drilling the fillhole larger was the best modification yet since running mesh
