Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!

I tried 28 in my Kanger T3S's with my Vamo and my Visson Spinner II's, I had to go with a tight coil to get around 2 ohm's. I went back to the 32 with five spaced wraps that puts me about 2.2 ohms and that's been working great for me, I seldom use the Vamo for my clearo's.

I tried something new a couple days ago on the T3S coils, because I'm stuffing more rayon in them then what they were designed for, the rubber cap/washer that slides on the stem/chimney always compresses and chokes the fibers where they come out through the slots where the rubber comes down the sides. They were made that way to seal off any juice from leaking past the smaller factory wicks. But with the rayon I have a much fatter wick, now there is no open void at those slots with the chimney pressed on, without the rubber seal. I took my nail clippers and cut the sides of the rubber seal off so now it's just a flat rubber washer, you need something to seal between the coil assembly and the air tube inside the clearo when the base and coil is screwed on. This has been working great but I didn't want to cut all my seals in case I decide to go back to a smaller wick for some reason, looking for something similar in my spare parts bin I found a few of those rubber vaping condoms you put on a drip tip or clearo when you sample juice at the vape shop. I cut the tops off those and trimmed them down to size, they work perfect. These little guys are what I'm talking about.

That's what I tell people about the fogger v4. You want the least amount of wick without leaking, gives the best draw, vapor n flavor!

Exact same with a Kayfun/kfl! Same set up so its obvious but yes, everything but flooding and leaking!!

However after the first time I got pretty cocky about not wiring about getting my old nemi wet, then add a few girls and a lot more beer and on my second drop into the water it was deeper, prolly 40 ft. And I got my mod back is still working fine even the vtc5. But the cap came off my quasar and I was unable to find it. If anyone knows where to get quasar caps please let me know!

Im back to organic cotton again after trying the Rayon in my KFL and Trident RDA.Im finding i get better performance,flavour,TH.etc.Also im doing it for the comfort factor knowing im vaping a more natural wick.Now what to do with 500 ft of Rayon?

I dropped the rest of my 44060 box of Sally's off at a B&M a few days ago.

I kept a few quart sized ziplock bags full just in case.

Have I gone back to cotton? Nope. Nor Ramie, nor Hemp, nor silica, nor ceramic, nor mesh.

Nope, not even alpaca.

I just got some better rayon.

Way back in ancient times (like a month ago?) someone posted links to two companies that offered rayon balls, one was Delasco and the other was MedSupplier. There was something about the Delasco site that rubbed me the wrong way, so I ordered from MedSupplier. Well, they suck. It took them a number of weeks to ship. So I don't really recommend them as a vendor, at least not if you're in a hurry. Oh, and I got the stuff just a day or two before I had to leave on a business trip. Well, I'm back now.

Anyway, it came in a big paper bag, inside a big cardboard box. Here's the bag:

And here's the contents:

I put mods in the pictures for scale. They're full-sized bottom feeders with 6ml bottles and 18650 batteries, so roughly the size of a REO Grand.

Bottom line with using it: I think it wicks about the same as Cellucotton, but tastes cleaner, especially with a brand-new wick. I know, some people never noticed the initial funky taste from the Cellucotton but I sure did. Anyway, it's my new wick material of choice and I obviously have enough to last me a while.

I bought the "Delasco" rayon and I have not used them yet because the have a slight yellow cast to them and the person that posted that they are easier to unroll than cotton balls, well, whomever it was needs to slow down on the mind altering chemicals.

Even though I admire your deep diving skill, I'm afraid you are going to buy a whole new Quasar if you love it so much. It is under $10.00 on FastTech. I don't have that much passion for mine, but not to the point that I could just give it away unfortunately. I still keep my Nimbus, IGO-W, 2 and 3... collecting dust.

A 40ft free dive... I don't know about the women and beer but I just have to say that is one He11 of a dive for an ex-smoker. It is just amazing what the love of a mod will make a man do.

They unroll super easy and wick great! Just couldn't get past the taste... I figured it might be from being in an unsealed paper bag?

Hello fellow Rayon'ers, Im here to report that the tobecco aqua clone is a badass with rayon wicks. Im just high from nicotine, and im powering thru the 4th tank of my honeydew melon. In other news, my buddys igo-w has been wicked with rayon for over a month, and looks like brand new. Its insane, he uses the thing everyday and it has gone thru many many ML's not a funky color spot or flaw anywhere. This stuff is the work of witchcraft...
